Where have you been I've missed you content. When I found you I had watched every video you had put out and then nothing till your sere pouch video. I'm glad your back. but I do miss your bushcraft meals.
Nice pack Matt. I'm all about small little kits that are easy to grab & carry. Wazoo has great gear. I'm a big fan of the cache cap & belt. Great choice of items. Thanks for sharing brother!
Thank you so much brother. I really appreciate your time and kind words! I like supporting those businesses like Wazoo and Exotac. They make great quality and well thought out kit. I hope you are doing well my friend!
I'm jealous of that sewing kit! I have never seen a mini Suunto like that, but I use their button compass all the time to keep my heading and they can be surprisingly accurate (easy access = checking much more often).
That pouch is the perfect size to carry the essentials. The larger the pouch, the more stuff I put in it. Then it becomes bulky & I am less likely to carry it. Great review!
Nice SERE pouch and kit Matt. Great choice of gear too. I am a huge fan of Wazoo…awesome people, company and gear! I would add a couple of Wazoo emergency water bags that you can boil water in with 2-4 Aqua tabs…just in case, and maybe a whirl-pak bag. Also I would add a very small boo boo kit, with basic medications and a Heatsheet. For signaling a Wazoo whistle and a SOL or UST micro signal mirror. It looks like all those additions would easily fit in the pouch with room left over! Well, that’s my two cents worth! Thanks! Looking forward to future vids Matt!
just a little something to consider adding to your kit. I use a product called "Bob-eez" to coil my Jute fire starter. It is just a rubber Bobbin with flexible sides which keep the Jute neat and tidy in my kit. I have seen a few older videos on RU-vid over the years about them so a simple search should do you if you are interested.
I already carry much of this as EDC and what I don't carry as EDC I have ready for such a kit. The pouch looks great and I have a few Helikon items and they are all tough pieces of gear. Thanks for the video Matt.
Nice belt kit Matt Mercer, perfect size, love the color of it,and the items you've chosen seem to be logical. U have so much knowledge to share out of the Pathfinder group,I wished u made more videos. Enjoy all your videos. The sewing kit was superior, nice for a carry out bag. Have a happy Thanksgiving Matt Mercer.👍🇺🇸😎
Hi Matt, glad to see you're back on your channel. Looks like a good bag, I like the carry-on options. Good choices on your gear; I would add a small "boo-boo" kit. Thanks for sharing and Rich Blessings.
The early trappers and hunters didnt have pants pockets in their buckskin breeches. So, they carried therir EDC on their belts. I have read accounts of things some of therm carried. Basically they pretty much all carried a belt knife and a fire kit in a small belt pouch. The fire kit pouch might have held flint and steel and a bit of fat wood. It also might have held a jack knife, a magnifying glass and a small compass. This was a very small kit. With No room for many extra things. Thanks fpr the video
Very cool. Handy without being bulky. With the Cordura material I imagine it is reasonably durable. I wouldn't mind seeing you make a pouch like the leather possibles pouch you have. If you have done a video on it I will search but I think it would be interesting and educational to see.
Thanks for this review. I really like this pouch. I have something similar to it,although not as nice. I will be looking into it for sure. Your videos are refreshing and informative. Also you have new ideas that are very helpful. Thanks again. And God Bless.
Hello, the ones you have seen me wear and also any of the Pathfinder crew would be from Perseverance Survival. They stay low on stock but if you keep an eye out regularly, you can usually catch one on there site. they are about the most comfortable thing I wear and very warm for what they are.
Hey love the video and the bag, but I'm not into brown. Ot is a great price also. I e got a couple other helikon tex products. Very pleased. The suunto compass. I cant find it on their website. What model is it?
I always wear 2 pouches, i use them to carry my vape and liquid, a power bank and wires to charge my phone and vape, Advils, some money, I use them "urban " way 😂
@@rudygeorgiamulesandcountry1594 Most Altoids kits have difficult to use mini items in them from my experience. All of the items in this pouch are regular size tools that I use on a daily basis for the most part. Some people may carry many of these items in their pockets, for me this system works. Everyone has their own preferences of course.
