assembly may be a pain, but it means you understand the workings of the bench if it needs a repair, etc.

That was indeed a serious level of whacking 😄

Considering the 825 or the Bosch PWB600, plus others. Would have liked to have seen the 825 in use as trying to work out which is the most stable when in use sawing wood, etc.

After putting Mine together I came on RU-vid to see if I was doing the right things because I've had one of these for the last 30yrs & thought it was about time that I bought a new one.. So I went for this model.. your explanation of the making up was very good & like me you had to work out the drawings because that is not very good.. & being as I used to work for the company I bought mine from I will have a word with them about the instructions not being good enough especially for someone who is new to construction Items.

You can put the handles on with a 30 mm long M4 machine screw and nylon lock nut. Then you won’t ever have to knock those split pins out again.

Your directions are very clear, thank you. My printed directions were only in Chinese I believe! Sorry I don't understand orr read Chinese. What were they thinking????

Place some thing, eg another hammer head beneath the hammer. This will help when hammering the pin in, it will absorb some of the shock.

Vertical clamping? I’m sure this one has it.
