The Belt and Road Initiative is essentially the United Nations without the G7. All countries are invited to join the BRI, but the G7 and their allies refused to participate because raising the standard of living for poorer countries is not in their interest. The G7 accounts for 60% of the global budget deficit. The West is isolating itself from the majority.

These countries are poor because of geography and will always be poor. China is nothing but a totalitarian country that nobody wants to be a part of. That's showing through pretty clearly. Sorry, china boy your dream is done.

The BRI is essentially an invitation to a debt trap and a loss of sovereignty; let's not be duped by the CCP's agenda which is only accepted by poorer countries who are open to the corrupt ways of doing business with the CCP. That is why Xi has been working furiously to fight corruption within the CCP among members of rival factions. The BRI has contributed to China's huge fiscal debt burden that is being worsened by the Chinese property sector nearing breaking point, a crackdown on key private sector players perceived to be a challenge to the single-party rule, millions of young workers who would rather lie flat than work for pittance, etc.

What you don't realize is the USA doesn't need globalization, we're about 90% self- sufficient within North America. We don't need you, you need us. And the thought that the United States would make China the number one country in the world by protecting the ocean's for their exports. That was always a stretch, think about it.

The US is not self sufficient, in every household you will see goods stamped 'Made in China'. The US also uses more oil than it produces and still needs to import oil from countries such as Canada and Saudi Arabia.. Metals, chemicals and minerals are also imported, in fact Russia still supplies Uranium to the US despite the US sanctions on Russia. This is because the US lacks the Uranium needed for its nuclear power plants. No country in the world is self sufficient, there will always be something lacking, whether that is food, oil, gas, minerals, chemicals, metals, medicines, or electronics. Americans like coffee don't they? Well, all that coffee needs to be imported.

All possibilities for course correction exist..Even with manageable disruptions n containable inflation n other financial balance...within nations n in the global arena...if...IF...one truly n sincerely puts one's mind to it. If your intent is good n Truth the basis, everything is possible. But. .. Leadership is wanting.. Leaders have no political will. They are stuck in the old ways of thinking and exploitative policies. This is the biggest issue Ailing the World today.
