Yes!!! The other return that we’ve ALL been waiting for!!! Getting caught up on showing the pickups has to feel good, now it’s time to organize and file! The old, abandoned Sam Goody…lol
Welcome back! Good to see you on here again. So many movies that you listed here that are good, but the one you should see the most (that you said you haven’t seen) is “Night Shift (@6:10). I think it’s one of the best comedies ever made. It’s literally perfect.
What a treasure trove of awesomeness!!!! Had me foaming over that NIGHT OF THE HUNTER. I have the Criterion blu-ray...one of my favorite movies. So beautifully shot and Mitchum's performance is legendary. Hope you get to finish it soon! Agreed on EXTREME PREJUDICE...grew up with that and the new blu-ray looks fantastic. Love Walter Hill...no one explores male violence lime him. Love the Sinbad shout out! Saw him live twice back in the day...this made me crave a rewatch of HOUSEGUEST!!! Anyways, thanks for sharing, glad to see you back in action, and will look forward to more soon. Much love to you and the family.
Never forget Munro Chambers was also great in Turbo Kid, but I do love Degrassi, would like to get the old junior high and next generation series on dvd someday. Baby's Day Out is a blast! You need to move that one up on the watch list. Awesome to see you back on here bud!
Is Envy that movie about a guy who invents an invisibilitizing spray, but it only works on dog turds, or am I thinking of a different movie? Did the two creepmeisters, Klaus Kinski and Udo Kier, ever do a movie together? Probably not or it would explode. That's too much creepiness vying for ultimate domination in one place. I could watch Cliffhanger over and over all the time pretty much. I've never upgraded from just the DVD though for some reason. Aside from having way too much cussing than it needed to have, Running Scared is awesome and disturbing and fantastic. It has lots of cool scenes and concepts, but everyone seems to remember one sequence the best (myself included; anyone reading this right now, yeah that part). This movie introduced me to the super cool actress & knockout Vera Farmiga. I've been a fan of hers ever since I saw this movie. Anyway, just a cool, weird, though not perfect flick. I've never seen The Breaks, but I've always heard that "Malibu's Most Wanted" ripped it off. If you can handle Terrifier, you still may want to rethink giving Terrifier 2 a chance. It's a lot gorier, and a longer movie as well. It's also better and weirder. Death Sentence is pretty good for one watch. I remember really liking an impressive travelling camera sequence. No. Baby's Day Out wasn't me. Rob needs to make more videos or at least collaboration videos with other people. Faster delivery than usual, but the X-tine standard of funny or just plain informational quips remain remain strong and unaltered, plus you had a lot to get through.
Chris!! So glad to see you back! Envy is a really fun movie that people tore apart upon release, cool to see that you picked it up! Can't wait for the film noir videos, thanks for making this epic return with so many pick-ups!
Oh wow, I can't give it my full recommendation! Haha It's no Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Random, but I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts on the 1991 film Point Break! That one you might like.
Without having watched it, every time I see the cover, I can't get over how much Keanu looks like my brother in law in that pic 😂 and they can't all the Treasure of the Sierra Madre!
@@XtineFeaturette ahhhh ok got it. The boiling will commence. It will be extraordinary, and you will know your purpose. Your final conflict. The puller of the thread that leads you through this maze and into God Himself will be torn naked and made bare and the great illusion that you so blissfully inhabit will fade to vapor, bearing resemblance to memories soon forgotten.
