Ha! that was a very good tip on how to compress the front springs to get them back off/on without a spring compressor, I just ordered some tender springs for my RZR RS1 as the stock one are fully compressed and useless. They are getting delivered Saturday to my daughters house in Arizona, I'll get my son-in-law to help me install them. Hopefully they'll make a difference in trail riding because I usually just go slow. That is very nice to see that your son and your daughter is working with you, I bought my little grandson a RZR 170, we are always working on it in my garage as there's no room for it at his house. His dad has a razor XP 4 seat and we all go out trail riding and have a blast, it's a terrific way for families to stay together and have fun. Keep up the good work!
Much respect bro I love you getting the kids out there with ya I do the same best father’s son/daughter time 👌🏻 great video I’m put them on mine this weekend
Joe Gom I felt it was the most cost efficient way to correct the ride height/quality problem that’s notorious on Polaris machines with tender springs. I feel shock therapy/eibach and other brands just replace everything....why would I do that??? It’s like we buy our machines for top dollar just to remove the stuff and install aftermarket? I couldn’t bring myself to do it and looking back now I am happy with the purchase. I have seen zero added benefits between the ride quality of a shock therapy spring kit vs a tender spring kit paired with the stock spring.
Absolutely kept the ride nice and plush and allowed me to get back to stock ride height withough making my ride super stiff like the stock ones were doing.
I have 40hrs on my S and the tenders are always compressed. Bought the machine second hand and the tenders were like it when I picked it up. Looking to buy a new set of springs then i saw your comment about just replacing the tenders as opposed to the whole lot. I use my S for scrambling and the odd jump. . What difference is it likely to make to the ride ?
I would just add preload. The paper tender spring is only there to keep pressure on the main spring. They are designed to be collapsed like that. I actually have since gone back to stock tenders since making this video.
Set to normal. I have actually since removed all tenders though. I run my machine with a very low stance so tenders ended up coming off after a while. Just too spongy for me.
