@@animalbasedbae yes and no. I enjoyed it as much as just a means to eat cereal (when I used to eat that) but now with raw milk, you can find me with a glass in hand just because it tastes that good and real. I’m diving into homemade ice cream too, just have to get the method down

Yes I have a soy allergy and have been eating strictly 100% grassfed/finished beef. I use white oak pastures meat and haven’t been able to really find a great source of dairy so this is exciting stuff! It’s great to hear from them. It’s also good to note that I mentioned I have a soy allergy bc cows are fed soy and other misc things and that can transfer to their meat and milk!

@animalbasedbae and I am not going to lie. I really enjoyed this episode. As someone with an allergy it’s refreshing and RARE to find people who actually care about their product and that are knowledgeable, trustworthy and passionate.

@@HaleyNewton-u9b agreed! @MillersBioFarm might have more insight on if anyone with a soy allergy has successfully eaten these items. However, being that all of their food from cattle - chicken are without soy and corn, I don't see why it would be an issue. They are also an open book - so pick up the phone and call them too! I am happy that I can bring these farmers closer to the community so we can listen in instead of relying on labels :) These discussions is where we can bring ourselves closer to the hands that feed us and understand the process of how the food is produced, so we can choose how we want to feed ourselves!

Its nice to see a Pa farm on here! I am in Pittsburgh and access to farm food is not common here. I hope to see some of their products in grocery stores here soon.

The difference in farms and cleanliness and also the difference in aged cheese. We can't get raw where I live.

@@animalbasedbae WE have a farm in Indiana that will deliver to various locations, so I pick up in a town about 30 minutes from me. They ae called Grass Corp. I may try Miller's though since they deliver.

lindsay..welcome to p.a...raw milk rules!!..want government out of my food choices!! also wishing for flax free along with corn and soy free feed for animal feed supplementation...yes to beef remnant.

Our egg feed is flax free!! But our chicken feed does have flax in it, and that chicken has a perfect 1:1 omega 6/3 ratio, and I think the flax (high in omega 3) has something to do with that. Why are you specifically looking for flax free?

You can ferment previously frozen produce. But, it might be better for sauces and spreads. You won't get that crunch with previously frozen produce.

@@mandyj011 The batch testing is pretty quick. It takes a few minutes to prepare the sample. Then it takes a few minutes to read it. We do multiple of those every week. The rest of the testing for specific pathogens happens off site. So it's just a matter of helping someone get the samples, which takes a few minutes.
