And it's okay. I like that she don't affected by that and wishes to improve (and already improved). And I'm happy that Jype gets it too.

@@TheSeriousAnalysist K-pop isnt just about being good at dancing or singing. Its also about stage presence and charisma. Kendall lacks in the vocal and dance department but has a ton of stage presence and charisma.

I agree!. You got that right -- passion, dedication, and hard work toward the goal. He knows his training systems can enhance the skills like singing, dancing, speaking, and even knowledge. However, in the upcoming episodes,, I'm more than certain you'll notice what he puts the more emphasis on ..is personality. (I'm a Korean, and have watched all the contests where he was a, or the only, judge, including the latest NIJI project done in Japan yrs. ago., and I can attest he consistently emphasized the same things.) He's not seeking any Me-Only self-centered person, but rather someone who can collaborate, harmonize, and create synergy. Personally, I've already observed a contestant who is too focused on herself only, and could potentially become like a "condescending, know-it-all, full-of-complaining" individual, if she were to debut.

@@Odysseus_Outis yeah when I've watched the Niziu before, he pick candidates who could harmonized/binding with each other as a group. And Maya's group exactly nailed it. Even though Miihi is not good in rapping when she did the rapping of "make you happy" song but you could see she is happy to do the rapping for her group eventhough its not her forte. They looked naturally binding as a group. Thats why all Maya's member debuted as Niziu

@@Cookie20132 I can't be sure, and identifying those I personally think of doesn't seem to be appropriate. But we'll eventually get to see who the person(s) is/are as the show goes along keeping this perspective in mind. This is because JYP will be providing some missions to clearly identify those abilities and filter out the less competent contestants, in that aspect.

@@Odysseus_Outis I also think behind the scenes the trainers and staff are carefully observing them and pushing them to their limit to see how they act towards others under stress. I am worried as a US citizen because I know my culture prioritizes rebellion and sass in youth, and at worst brattiness from parents who do not raise kids to respect others. I was scared of how the girls would be and am still watching carefully for any signs of hidden rude behavior. I wondered if we got less Melissa and Mischa screen time because of that.

The team helping JYP pick talent is also amazing. Seeing the girls applaud each other you could just sense that these girls have great personalities and not just talent.

they know alot of companies dont do this. And considering this is JYP ent they know this is gonna be big

And what I like about this show compared to the western versions of these sorts of shows, is if they perform well, they are acknowledged as such. None of this fake artificial criticism to make the judge seem like they are seeing something no one else in the world can see because they aren't nearly as discerning (looking at you Simon). If they have a great performance, they are told so and awarded as such.

I agree. Lexi is a pure dancer. She's like the pro choreographer that teaches kpop artists how to dance, like Lia Kim in the industry. (The Lia that was on Running Man.) Gina's dance style is more kpop genre, whereas Lexis can do all genres.

Yes! When I saw her performance, I was mindblown and so excited! Her movements were so accurate and pretty. She has such a warm, genuine smile, she is beautiful and she has stage presence. She is the first girl who made me think that I was looking at an idol.

Christina is a SHINING STAR!! She is literally drop dead gorgeous, she has discipline, dedication, and you can tell she is DRIVEN as hell. Every contestant she watched so far with love in her eyes showing she's humble and open. Plus her talent is off the charts. I am so excited for someone who looks like me to make it in this industry!! Leader potential!!!!

Yes, I agree with you! The fact that they've improved most of them says a lot of the quality of his feedback. He's seriously inspiring me to give better feedback in life in general and to look for people like him, who can tell you the truth and no sugar-coat everything!

But it's a k pop grp which entails singing n dancing. She looks talented enough here in her dancing in a small grp (or not) but cruel truth is that many companies trainees including jyp trainess themselves are way better than her at dancing. Thousands of them can outdance her anytime. I genuinely question her ability to pick up choreo in a short amt of time if that was what she presented after like a month to practice. She should pursue a solo singing career or maybe do country like TS instead.

@@jen5138I honestly think she chose a JYP song to try and add brownie points but I really wish she picked a different song. The choreo was kinda strange for the vibe of a young 15 yr old girl. Doing a different girl group song probably would’ve benefited her more

​@@jen5138Nina Hillman from Nizi Project wasn't a good dancer either but she had an amazing voice. Now, she's a member of Niziu and her dancing skills have improved a lot.

@@noeliagomez5882 To be honest, singing well is much harder than dancing well. Vocal skills don't work just by trying. With a lot of dance practice, KG can reach a certain level or higher. Not dancing well is not a problem to worry about. And if you look at KG's dance, you can see her shaking her pelvis, and it's not that she has no talent for dancing at all. If she dances well, she can grow into an all-around 5 tool player like Bruno Mars. As she debuted as a girl group, she can also perform as a solo artist. That's why JYP describes her as a diamond gemstone. JYP values a mind that improves itself with enthusiasm. She doesn't have many faults.

I was literally arguing with someone a couple hours ago who said what is love choreo is easier than Pop!they even claimed that Kaylee dance better than Kendall. And I was like Pop! Choreo is harder and Kaylee didn't even dance to the whole song. I really don't appreciate the way people are quick to dismiss Kendall as if she's not talented. She did so well here compared to her regional auditions

Yeah her getting the stone made sense. Like you said, its them competing against their own selves and skills. Showing constant improvement and growth after getting feedback is a great thing to show especially in these types of competitions
