After Covert Affairs I absolutely HAD to know who did this song. I LOVE music like this. Acoustic guitar and harmonica with a gorgeous voice... can't go wrong with that.
I knew of A.A. Bondy before Covert Affairs, but I immediately loved this song when I saw it on that show, so in essence, A.A. Bondy brought me here. Doesn't really matter though, I'm here and I love this song.
Heard this on covert affairs the other night, I was in awe of the beauty of the lyrics and melody! I raced to the computer to search who this was. I am amazed that he seems to be so underated as a musician and songwriter, He is fantastic!!!
It's a beautiful song (from Canada myself). It's definitely an American song, and absolutely beautiful. It's too bad this generation is not generating anything like the past, like Billy Joel and Don Mclean.
This is such a thoroughly American song. It makes me proud of my country that we produce artists like this. I do think this sound is uniquely American in that it takes from so many cultural influences, but it transcends them all. Beautiful song.
I came upon this via Covert Affairs (which is not my norm btw... ) I was in awe after just a few seconds of this song!! Seriously snapped my short attn span right to it! Beautiful guitar work, creative lyrics and phrasing! Quite impressed!
