Not so far. I haven't used the compressor much, but the filters are supposed to prevent that. I'll definitely report if there are issues.

I'm not an electrician, but my understanding is the Red Arc is what lets you charge the aux off the main. You could isolate the back battery and only charge it with solar, but I think you'd still need a battery charge controller like the red arc
