Was a friend of her’s, wrote “I Can Be” and “What If” from her last album and sang on Aaliyah’s song “Come Over”), Lala Anthony, Nick Cannon (they met on the mtv red carpet when he did his comedy thing where he was in drag), Elise Neal (in the green jacket), Jaheem (cornrows. Might have spelled his name wrong lol), Jamie Fox, Big Tigger (red hoodie), and I forget who else. Some people have said the dude playing the guitar is Dallas Austin, but idk how Dallas Austin looks, so I can’t be sure lol. Also, it isn’t featuring DMX or Timbaland. Neither were on the song (Teddy Bishop produced this, not Timbaland).

Also, this song has an interesting background. Originally, Ginuwine, who was Aaliyah’s friend at the time (1999), wrote this song with Johnta Austin and Teddy Bishop and recorded it for his “100% Ginuwine” Album. When Aaliyah was in the studio recording songs for her last album, she was working with Johnta Austin and Teddy Bishop and asked them to play songs they did with other artists (I’m guessing to see what their vibe was), and they played this song, which already had Ginuwine’s vocals on it. She loved it and wanted it for herself, but they said this was for Ginuwine. So right then and there, she called Ginuwine up and asked him if he’d give her the song to record her own version (he of course said yes). Her label, however, didn’t see this as a hit record and didn’t let her release it. Fast forward to 2002, and they release it after her death and it ended up being her 2nd biggest hit (after “Try Again”) lol.
