In 2009 at the request of several die hard Aaliyah fans, I wrote a 120 page time travel novel where an intercept takes place on Abaco Island and she lives. The story begins begins on the morning of August 24, 2021 next year. At some point one of Lisa Lopes fans sent me a message and wanted to know if I could include a Chapter of rescuing Lisa and preventing her death. At first I thought it would be getting too far out there, but then after a few days I typed up around 20 pages of how it would be done and it was near the end of the novel. The chapter was called: The Intercept and the Supernova. Only a handful of people ever read it from start to finish and it was never published....but several had commented that DID read it that they were on the edge of their seats!

At the time I was on an Aaliyah fan site and posted a question to the fans if they'd like for me to write a time travel story that would change the course of what happened to Aaliyah and her crew. The response was an overwhelming YES! It ended up being 120 pages when I finished it.
It centered around the USS New York which was heading to the Caribbean on a routine war game exercise and was to arrive in the area on August 24, 2021.....20 years to the day before Aaliyah was killed.
