It annoys me so much that she wasn’t recognized more for her contributions to music and the culture while she was alive, but only after her tragic plane crash. Now the completely talentless and trash “artists” of today are getting awards like candy. I always felt award shows were only pomp and circumstance anyways🙄

Well Rock the boat music video came out after she died and not only that she was and her prime she was winning awards before her death they didn’t take her serious like that when she first came out cause she was a teenaged singer but when she grew up she was getting more recognition.
