Not me still crying in 2024 as if I just found out Lisa passed away🥺. My high school friends and I were legitimately DEVASTATED back to back by Aaliyah and Lisa’s passing. We watched and listened to them so much that they were family(in our heads/hearts, of course😭💯)
i was only 15 years old when this award show happened. i'm 36 today and it still pains me today when i listen to their music on my Spotify 😢 TLC fan for life 💜

Hard to believe this was 17 years ago... I'm 46 now. Left Eye would have been just a year older than me. Would have been great to see how she would look now as a beautiful older woman. We're still missing you Lisa 😔.

The road to success is always hard and long but TLC gets it effectively. It's sad to miss someone who was part of the journey in its peak, but their tribute to Left Eyes was heartbreaking and beautiful.
Watching the video makes have the urge to cry with them. Because losing a loved one whom you grew up with or gotten accustomed to for years all of a sudden dies. This why we have to tell our loved ones we have left on this planet that we love them. Because you never know what tomorrow may hold.

Chester, Chris cornell, Britany Murphy, Robin Williams etc. I think that they knew what was happening in the dark Hollywood industry and they couldn't speak because they knew that if they spoke they could be silenced or hurt their family. They chose to leave this world. Even I, who am a normal citizen, feel so bad about everything that is coming to light, I can't imagine the pressure they were under.
I remember when they announced left eye passed away in the news I was sleep and my mom was getting ready for work. Soon as they announced it she was so hurt and upset very bad she broke her hairdryer and it woke me up out of my sleep which I found out also and was also hurt too
Insult to injury as the award ceremony decides to play Left Eye's part just as the survivors of the group get on stage. As if it's not already hard enough for them both when it was fresh then & you can tell they still mourn her to this day. But Chilli is right, life is short & tomorrow is never promised to any of us, no matter our status in this life.
She is gone but not forgotten and will stay in our hearts and minds. Also seeing Brittany Murphy and Chester from Linkin Park who is no longer with us - even those who seem to be doing well are not always well. Call me old, but music scene back then was something else than it is today. True feelings and true emotions touch the soul of many people. You will be missed.
