Not gonna lie my 1st album I bought CD n lp was dechristianize I fell in love and checked out the older stuff and I like it but I have played dechristianize more than the first couple efforts
There’s nothing wrong with anyone going to Ozzfest. A lot of ppl get into extreme music, by getting into more mainstream music at first, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
I agree, I went to Ozzfest twice before I was getting into heavier stuff. For instance when I was getting into Death Metal I only liked 2 bands, it took me a while to love the genre and checking out more bands.
Switch out Phoenix Rising for Unchain The Wolves and you'd have the perfect starter-pack for this anonymous 12 year old, a perfect introduction to Metal.
KK a rawk star because he didn't give the intie? Probably for the best. Hard to keep up with Aussie banter, not sure if standard canoe-flipping wit would fly with Mr. Warslut.
Fuck yeah, "Aar-dawg" had some good stories to bring to the table once again. Would definitely love more videos like this where there's someone else with the Dawg answering the viewer questions.
You fuckin damn right it is. Shit, when death metal bands cover any of those songs. They don’t even have to do anything except growl to make it death metal
@@zacharyseibert4526 Sinister does bad ass covers of Necrophiliac and Praise of Death. Angelcorose nails Kill Again, Incantation also totally rules on Hell Awaits.
Aaron is a cool dude. Had a few random conversations with him through the past few years at Chicago shows. Would be awesome to get the whole band on here
J-Dawg In the UK Death constantly cancelled their shows. Their 1988 tour was cancelled and twice in 1990 i bought a ticket to see them and they cancelled again. First was at the London Marquee and then the co headline tour with Kreator at Bristol Bierkeller. This is the tour where some of the other band members carried on with Louie Carrisalez from Devastation on Vocals
Feel for you bro, as much as I admire chucks music the dude pulled some bullshit over the years. Apparently during that tour you mentioned where he was no show, he called 3 weeks into it and said he was ready to join like wtf man come on. Even his manager said this was a pattern of his, quit a tour wait it out until things smooth over but not that time kreator were pissed.
That probably really pissed you off... I understand I bought a ticket to go see possessed and nunslaughter and wasn't able to get in the show because I had paint in my backpack and they were mad about it I said I would throw it away and they still wouldn't let me in I got in a fight with the bouncer.. never got my money... But definitely f'd him up
I saw violence & sacred Reich & that fat woke slob Phil Rind would not shut up talking about social Justice. This is a metal show go to a BLM rally if you want to spew that garbage. Sacred Reich has 2 decent albums the rest suck
J-Dawg would star in a film called "Death to Posers!" He'd be be going to all the Twinkore shows and be brutally deleting them. The Dawg would also spew his trademark one-liners that would solidify him as the next new horror icon. Then, he'd go to all the Cons and rake up all that cash from his cult following. What's heavier than this bag 💰, brah brah! Edit: Add in Mordant and Athenar into the murderous crew, too!
There’s a video that was made a few years ago that gives a tour of the warehouse. It was hard to watch because they put the picture in letterbox form. I hope it gets a reupload one day with out the leather distractions on the sides.
Listen brother, Molder is a good band, but this guy is lying to you dawg. I saw Molder a few months ago when they were on tour with Obscene and that guy was wearing a five finger death punch t shirt. My theme music is heavier than that, brother!
why does one of the bandmembers in the band photo for Molder on metal archives have his mouth open, tongue out and eyes rolled up. ready for what exactly there bud.
@@zacharyseibert4526 "Skully said he tried out to be in Morbid Angel years ago like in the early 90s and when he was trying to sleep, he heard David Vincent and another guy screaming like they were doing it. " Anal Cunt's album "Morbid Florist" goes over this. Trey and Vincent had buttsex in a New Orleans cemetary to "defy God" xD
@@sinisterking6009 Breathtaking? We talking metal albums or supermodels here? I’d say it’s better than ‘alright’. I generally don’t give as many spins to shit that’s ‘alright’ as I have to this disc. Solid, I say.
@@sinisterking6009 I’ll explain it to you: I wouldn’t ever use the word ‘breathtaking’ to describe a metal album. That’s a word more apt to describe something beautiful (like a supermodel). There’s nothing beautiful nor breathtaking about it and I’m glad. I don’t want to listen to a beautiful metal album. Beauty doesn’t even enter the equation. To each their own!
@@OaksArm whutt?? Is that your perception of "beauty"? You must be bery limited in thoughts bro, beauty is subjective. I can find pure bliss in the most disgusting Mortician album if this genre would lighten me up and again the word "breathtaking" can be associated with many things, a Rollercoaster ride or a flavor, you have a really shallow perception of that which is commonly a stereotype of a death metal fan (not tryna diss you at all haha) seeing from an outsider's perspective. Anyway what i meant was it's just nothing special to my ears.
I don't understand people who are elitist to the point of not understanding music is subjective. It's based on YOUR taste and nothing else. In entertainment of any kind there are not absolutes.
I went to the Irish, one day version of Ozzfest in 2002 as a 15 year old. Ozzy was ill and cancelled so Tool played their own set and the headliner set. 3 hours of tool. Torture!
J-Dawg how can you say you're not creative you big dumb dumb ? Look at all the records and bands you brought to the metal world. Also breath of fresh air RU-vid channel \m/
Justin is the Jeff Bezos of metal. He invests in bands, and we buy their music/merchandise. This gives him a return of investment and profit that he in turn invests in other bands. Plus he makes a living for himself. That's the beauty of capitalism and entrepreneurship.
Anyone remember seeing the vital remains tour with glen on vocals? He was wearing the whole get up with the armor, super good show. The Black Dialiah Murder opened for them. Can’t remember the co headliner
I always thought Overkill should've been considered part of the "Big 4" over Anthrax. I do like some Anthrax, but nothing they did even comes close to the old shit from Slayer, Metallica, and Megadeth. Always thought Overkill was right there with those bands. And yeah, nothing wrong if one of the "Big 4" happens to be someone's favorite. But if you HAVEN'T heard other greats like Kreator, Sodom, Dark Angel, Demolition Hammer, Razor, Sadus, Exodus, Destruction, Whiplash, Rigor Mortis, Sacrifice, Hobbs Angel of Death, among others, then that's ridiculous.
@@zacharyseibert4526 So many people skip over that fact. Personally, I fuckin hate anthrax and Megadeth. Never liked them. I like one Anthrax album and that’s Fistfuls of Metal. To me, every album after that sucks. I never liked Megadeth. I bet if it wasn’t for Dave being in Metallica for 8 minutes. Megadeth wouldn’t have been as successful. Because that was the marketing point. I’m a total Slayer fanboy, so I’m heavily biased in a way that wouldn’t make for a good discussion why they should or should have been in the big 4. But hell, the media straight up said the big 4 most successful thrash metal bands. Success doesn’t always mean good. For that example, just look at pop music
@@KaaiHawaiianDeathMetal Yeah, I like Fistful of Metal as well. The only one I really ever spin. Though I do like the early Megadeth shit... Especially So Far, So Good... So What! That is a truly excellent album.
@@reidjeanson486 I will admit that when I saw Megadeth at the Clash Of The Titans, I almost liked them. I will give Dave respect as a hell of a musician. Dude is way above my level of playing and song writing. I just never enjoyed their songs. Except for Go To Hell. But one album or one song. Unless that’s all they have does not make a fan. I do know the words to many songs by Anthrax and Megadeth. Thanks to my Metal friends when I was younger
I would say Death left deathmetal behind when Chuck ditched the lower vocals and started doing the higher pitched voice. All the rest is deathmetal, by definition. Yeah it went from traditional deathmetal to technical/progressive deathmetal, but it was still deathmetal.
Oh god, this guy again?? Don't wanna dog him too much since he seems like a cool guy but come on bro. This is literally a step above having my nobody zoomer ass on camera!! 😂😂😂
Just got my copy of that bad ass nunslaughter crucifier split ...didnt get it from hhr tho.. the Black Lourde himself.was kind enough to sign it too..very nice guy now im gonna try to get almighty Don's signature on this prized lil gem

I am absolutely “horrified” by your shirt dawg! Cool to see Aaren from molder at the warehouse! He can make a part 2 of the movie where the victims end up on sound clips or album covers to a copy cat serial killer that is in a under the radar goregrind band
It is really good. My pitch for the ending, the serial killer frames one of his band mates and gets away with it. Cut to "one year later" and the serial killer is in a new band and the cycle continues.
Totally agree about Danny McBride, he is for me the funniest hollywood actor alive, love some eastbound and down, Pineapple Express, Vice Principals season 1 was pretty funny, and yea the new show The Righteous Gemstones is also pretty funny.
@@heathertiller3644 Oh - I actually haven't watched the latest season, season 1 was great, season 2 already dipped in quality though. But yea I love everything I've seen with him pretty much.
Devil's advocate...if all you listen to are the biggest metal bands - say across a few subgenres at least...what else would you call yourself? Or say you like when someone asks? I'd say you still like metal in that situation.
"The word sick is from disturbed" 🧐 Hell yeah j dawg 😎 Autopsy "snoozefest" Recommend album severed survival"oh that's acceptable" 🤔 That's so sick dude fuck engrossed in decay is sick as fuck for sure
I'm slowly becoming a hardcore J-Dawg fan, love the videos but dude...... PLEASE GET A FUCKING MAN'S MICROPHONE to do these interviews?!?! 😂 🎤 Is that like a telemarketers headset piece or some shit?
There some good stuff out there, Eucharist, The Crown, Gates of Ishtar, Hypocrisy, Unanimated, God Dethroned, along with early At the Gates and the already mentioned incredible Riding Our Black Oceans and North From Here albums.
Awesome change of pace J-Dawg I’m pretty sure Aar-Dawg and I are around the same age. I almost forgot about fuse TV on Comcast I remember always watching the cannibal corpse video for evisceration plague. I have also heard a million times at shows by some older guy (usually a fat drunk guy) about how the Pantera/White Zombie show was the greatest show ever.
@@KaaiHawaiianDeathMetallol you talking about that hot Ukrainian chick? Mistress Juliya I think that’s her. Yeah couldn’t stay her she was just eye candy. She disappeared fast
@RickRossBigBoss It's overproduced at this point for sure; garbage? Nope. And what CC are we talking here? Everything up to the Wretched Spawn is pretty raw dude. I don't want to hear Brodequin levels of production on well played and written death metal anyways.
