@aa697 Actually, I agree about the injuries. However, all things being equal, the Yankees are better than the Jay's and maybe the Rays. The Orioles are still the best, but they have done nothing to improve a medicore starting rotation.

It's funny you say that like they always finish in 4th. Yeah maybe if judge and Soto both miss 2 months. And our entire starting pitching besides Cole crashes again. Good luck with that.

@@steveperez178I was thinking the same thing. He realized Jomboy used him for views and likes but he got burned a few times by Jomboy. I don’t think he appreciates Jomboy too much.

@@engell3707 To be fair, Jomboy and Jake are simply fans who hit it bigger because Jomboy could read lips. It was funny. That said, neither of them really have a deep understanding of the game.

@@MikeD_ exactly. They’re funny guys, nothing more. Oh, they provided with evidence for the Astros trash can allegations, which gave them massive recognition. I actually think they’re kind of boring nowadays. I like Jake a lot more than Jomboy that’s for sure.

Who is in the market for a rental second baseman right now? Why would the Yankees put a hole in their lineup to add pitching depth to an already full rotation? I get that in a perfect world the Yankees would have a better rotation, but replacing Clarke Schmidt who is a fine pitcher with Blake Snell at the expense of having to replace Torres with someone like Peraza would be making the team much worse. Reminder that our offense was one of the worst in baseball last year, so getting rid of one of your impact bats would not be a good idea. Not to mention you would be handcuffed with Snell’s contract for the next handful of years, which is going to impact who we can sign in the future.

The Yankees don't need to be subtracting offense, so unless they're planning to trade for someone like a Jorge Polanco, as one example, then Gleyber needs to remain. Peraza is a defense-first player. He might be able to hit, but the Yankees shouldn't be counting on that. The best move is to add Snell and hold Gleyber.

As long as Cashman is there as well . They can fire Boone . Really won't mean a thing.

@doug...too much muscle is actually not ideal for baseball players. Flexibility is way more significant. By the way do you have evidence that lighter guys get hurt a lot? Just wondering your expertise. I have trained people and know the value of stretching and flexibility.

@@bruce5402yeah body fat has nothing to do with getting hurt. Stanton’s problem is too much much muscle with no flexibility. His tendons and muscles are wired all the time.
