For all the young kids who will watch this in the future here’s some perspective for just how good Aaron Donald was this year. During this season Patrick mahomes became only the second quarterback to throw for 5000 yards and 50 touchdowns in a season and was both the MVP and Offensive Player of the year. Donald was still voted the number one player on the NFL top 100 and no one complained

Fisher is a defensive coach and understands it starts up front in the trenches, and the Rams where in rebuilding stage at that time. Either way what a player. Definitely going to be a HOF legend.

Im a bills fan, but I miss that rams team so much. The uniforms, todd gurley, the crushing defensive line was so fun to watch. Congrats Aaron Donald. The best to ever do it.

Absolutely It was so sudden about Aaron Donald’s retirement but man what a helluva of a career he had playing all the seasons with the Rams and when you finally got that Super Bowl in 2021 it was like a big weight had left his shoulders, and he deserves that Super Bowl ring. No doubt in my mind he will be a first ballot Hall of Famer.

As a University of Pittsburgh alumnus and Pitt football season ticket holder I had the privilege of watching Aaron Donald in his collegiate career. My favorite play was when he tackled both the Duke QB and RB in the backfield at the same time, one in each arm. Congrats on a great career, Super Bowl ring and future hall of fame!

Since this is a place full of people who really watch football and appreciate the history I have a question. Do we think Donald deserves a statue and is he a top 3-5 defensive player all time? I say no to both but he’s definitely top 10 a first ballot hall of famer and an all decade player.

The season was remembered for the offense but the defense only got better as the season went along. The playoffs were a defensive spectacle including the Superbowl. Thank you for the years of service, AD. Even when the team was terrible I'm glad the man stuck around and got his ring.

Im sure since he came in the league he been seein double teams. But it was after this year Donald required a double team almost EVERY PLAY and sometimes they triple teamed him! I can see why he feels like the fire ain’t there no more he was so dominant they sucked the fun out the game for him, but what else are they to do 🤷🏽‍♂️ One of the smallest on the line but the strongest in the league.
