Hella inspirational Aaron, I briefly skated around the age of 12 for a couple months borrowing a friends extra board. I Started again two years ago, at the age of 35, because of you and this channel... got my ollie w the help of a friend and your video in my first week then eventually pop shuv, front shuv, fakie front shuv over time...no kickflip yet though! This makes me want to get out there and get it bad! Its so awesome seeing you push and progress thru limits you thought you had. Aaron, last year, may not have even dreamed of ever doing this. Cheers bro and congrats.

The great thing about this series is seeing guys who have skated for years being pushed out of their comfort zone. Seeing these guys scared to try things is exactly how beginners will feel trying an ollie or dropping in a 4ft quarter. So comforting to know that everyone goes through that same process.

Can we please start calling JD's dad just JDD? I feel like he's earned more than just "JD's dad'

Ordered my first complete and shoes from Braille because of Aaron's continuous inspiration. Have been watching this channel for 5 years and finally I bought my own even Aaron says in every video that it is your turn to start skating. :D Next summer I will learn at least Ollie, shove it, 180's and kickflip for Aaron and Braille!

Aaron u gave me to motivation to start skating again , as a 37 year old and after 20 years of not skating I only got comfortable just riding and pushing and being able to run off curbs but I am doing it non the less , keep it up Aaron I like sk8

Honestly props to Aaron for getting up after that fall. But I just wanna chime in real quick on JD. I remember when you guys started bringing him into the Braille house and he was super shy on camera. But now maybe a month in and he’s in the limelight. Looking directly into the camera making comments. The kid is honestly a prodigy and I have only been following Braille for maybe 2 months now but you guys do amazing work. I would give anything to be a part of a project like this.

Aaron I noticed when youre not committing to a trick you angle your hips forward as a way to protect yourself. This makes front slash so much harder. I do the same with when riding switch and frontside tricks are more difficult because if I want to do a frontside 180 I’m having to turn my hips 270 degrees to compensate for my hips facing more forward

I love this series for a bunch of reasons, the main one being that the Mr. Miagi of this dojo is 11 yr old JD. The kid rips and has solid advice.
