The first time I heard this song, I was driving.. I had to pull over to listen!!!

I cried. I was born in the 50's and now seeing the country I love slowly ceasing to be what it used to be. It tears me up to see so many Americans falling for the socialist.

My hubby showed me this video & I couldn't stop sobbing for this great nation of ours...I served in the military because I wanted to give back to the nation my great grandparents risked their lives to come to (legally) & because of all of the freedoms it has afforded me. I continue to serve, in a different capacity now, but I love this country & our flag more than most. We must fight for her, God bless the USA!

I live in LA also. And sometimes I wonder am I the only conservative leading person out in the city. I am also of Japanese descent so yeah you really don't see many conservative meaning Asians out here.

I absolutely love this song! I got so irritated when I saw that there was a magazine that put this song in the either top 5 or top 10 worst songs of 2020. Most of the songs on that list were songs that were either pro America or going against the mandates.

I was so thankful when this song came out. I’m 64 and towards the end of my cancer treatments. Doctors asking me if I had gotten the jab. The line about statues coming down hits rather hard and speaks to the underlying and not very subtle agenda to retell, change, discredit American history. Aaron's voice is haunting and memorable just as with songs ppl know like Country Boy and especially a favorite of mine Far Away.

I heard this song for the first time on the Fourth of July, I believe it was on Fox news he was performing it or they played it or some thing anyway, I Was alone in my room in the words just had me in tears, and then I looked it up online and I watched it probably four or five times and I cried more and then I shared it with everybody and posted it everywhere. The live version is better but the words are just amazing. I like all these artist now coming out even the hip-hop you know Tom McDonald’s and Calhoun Upchurch and everybody else who are speaking out and saying the things we think , and when we express it Your comes the racist and bigot and all the rest of them stupid ass terms We get called because they really have no decent argument on that team so they pull a kindergartner and go to name-calling. As someone who fought for my country, I can really relate. This is what I feel, I didn't fight for this. They are trying to destroy the concept of America. I met Arron lewis and the members of stained , when they were just starting out. We partied in a motel bar in Daytona after there show. Playing pool and drinking beer n shots. He gave me a cassette saying watch out we're going places.. they were all cool down to earth . One stole the fine girl I was with 😭 dam rock n rollers 🤣.

I heard someone say that the mention of Springsteen was referring to "Born in the USA" not being the gung ho patriotic song that many people thinks it is. It isn't in the vein of "God Bless America", despite it's upbeat rock tempo and rousing chorus. Instead, the verses discuss the distance between The American dream, and American reality, Where many of the poorest in our society are used, wasted, and discarded. It's not unpatriotic to sing about systemic problems, even if many people misunderstand the message. I would say that trying to encourage change is patriotic, and I'm not the only one. Pay attention to the deeper meaning.

We would pray every morning in school then the pledge and if I got lucky I'd get to help hang the flag. Schools are not the same now and I think that plays a role in patriotism .
