The audience sucked, get over it. DONT SHIT ON HIS TRIBUTE. It’s not about you... It’s not about me.... It’s not about what WE want. It’s about the person singing and his intent, and his love for his friend. Don’t diminish that by JUST focusing on the shitty crowd. This performance is so much more than the crowd.
Aaron Lewis..... YOU HAVE MY RESPECT FOR HONORING YOUR GREAT FRIEND EVEN IN FRONT OF A TERRIBLE AUDIENCE Although seriously the crowd doesnt deserve this.........
It's more than a tribute. It a callback to 2002 and the time Aaron was featured on the remix version of Crawling on Linkin Park's REANIMATION album. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZJ0HJainlUY.html
All the 118 people who disliked this song are heartless..this song gave me chills, which rarely haplens..his compassion and pain in every word...breathtaking..I just wanna hug him.
He sings every song he dodn't write as though he wrote it himself. The emotion, the pain, the heart...it's all so veey real for him. Not that it isn't for anyone else, especially the writers, but you can tell when a song resonates with him on a serious level. This is what music, in part, is about. For some it's entertainment and expression. For others it's therapy, and a chance to let certain shit out. He bares it all. He's got so much of my respect.
Aaron's still sad and angry 25 years later, not sure that "therapy" is working out for him. And he's constantly signing sad music and in a depressing tone. I'm being honest
I seen another video of like back in 08, he was doing his solo & letting the audience request. They were all laughing a having a good time, Aaron would start singing a new pop song on a funny voice just for the crowd to laugh. Well someone yelled out a requested nutshell of AIC & from there Aaron went from smiles to real serious as he started to strum his guitar, he sung that song so damned good, just like he did PJ black. People always say "it's awesome but can't beat the original" I'm thinking to myself, I don't think that's they point. He's just showing respect to those that inspired him.
The reason i love his music is bc of the therapy it gives. I went through some hard times in my life when i was young and his album break the cycle was the best and closest thing i could get to expressing how shit made me feel. Real talk
@@caseykell9747 same thing here, I was 21 going through my first heartbreak, & BTC helped me out big time. I really only got the CD for the singles, but one day I was doing things around the house & let the whole thing play. I found myself repeating several songs, the only song I don't like is epiphany, just too slow for me.
I found my little brother dead he took his life at age of 36...he had lost his wife and kids home, and it was to much for him...I miss he every moment of the day
@@diegog2924, did you know that Aaron was featured on the remix version of Crawling on Linkin Park's REANIMATION album back in 2002? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZJ0HJainlUY.html
I was there and yes people screamed like idiots, but this was the most powerful performance I’ve ever seen and I’ll never forget it. I have this same video on my cell phone. Absolutely amazing!
Aaron has such an incredibly powerful and emotionally impactful voice as well. Chester loved him, and would have been grinning ear to ear to hear this. RIP Chester.
I reay hope aaron will see my comment he did the best song for chester and he did it perfectly Chester would have been watching u aarong god bless u brother what a man
Wow, so amazing! I never heard such a great tribute before. I got chills and wanted to cry. Aaron did such an incredible job, like it was his own song. So much emotion, well done!
Track 20 on Linkin Park's reanimation album has him singing this. It's not as emotional but it's been a long time favorite. The whole album is awesome! I remember buying it the day it was released.
Aaron is one of the most genuine and introspective people I have ever met. He shows his grief his joy his shortcomings and no one can seem to appreciate that he’s not around for screams and shouts. He was able to rise through misery and do something with his great gift to us all. Next time you are standing next to an utter loser at a show, punch him/her/it in the face (metaphorically...maybe) and tell them to RESPECT or kick rocks. Thank you Aaron. I miss you Chester, I hope you finally found your peace.
I know youll never read this aaron and ive never been one to even comment really, but i recently lost my best friend in the whole world... his name was ryan william patrick bayer and we shall never see his like again. we grew up with you and chester... you are literally my first and foremost favorite band... before i even cared about what bands names were. The two of you helped us both through a lot of shit in our lives and the only thing i keep seeing is a movie of his life and what should have been playing over and over in my head. I wrote him a song and trying to sing it out loud feels kind of like gurgling battrry acid to me so i csn imagine how you feel. This song .. everything it stands for now... everything it means to you... i just wanted you to know youre not alone... all we can hope to do is cherish our time with the few we still have left. Jason m. Your greatest fan. Since fucking tormented. You are amazing.
@@jayrichard5358 actually yeah you do. Not like he is going to watch a randoms shitty quality video of his live performance, and even read through the comments until he finds this guy, and then actually read through his entire poorly worded paragraph. There is a 0% chance of him ever seeing this comment.
@@nedflanders2462 I'll screenshot it and post it on every article he is associated with so he will see it! That'll make your 0% chance go up. Nothing is impossible.
It's more than a cover. Back in 2002, Aaron was featured on the remix version of Crawling on Linkin Park's REANIMATIOM album. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZJ0HJainlUY.html
Aaron Lewis was credited (Backing vocals) on the remix of crawling on the reanimation album, if you listen to the beginning of the song you can clearly hear him singing the opening chorus
people talk about the crowd being rude but that's what makes Aaron Lewis gatherings feel like a big family and yes this is a hard song for him to sing but this is how Chester would want to be remember
I was a kid when he did that music awards where Fred first brought him out. Still one of the best live performances I’ve yet to see, still remember it. Must be a pleasure to see him in person.
Nothing but respect!!! Aaron and Chester were by far my favorite vocalists from that decade... For him to do this it sent shivers throughout me!!! Like em or don't idc this touched me
The reason for that is because Aaron was featured on the remix version of Crawling on Linkin Park's REANIMATION album. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZJ0HJainlUY.html
This is a song that means to much to understand for others. And stil does. Of all others after Chester, this tribute is and does the same for me but.. while hearing the pain in his voice, those fans didn’t deserve that tribute 👿. What they did whas screeming during the 2min of silence to respect for all lives who passed away during ww2. That whas the same for me for what they did during Aaron his tribute for his friend. R.i.p. Chester.
Who ever argue about the crowd. This is the crowd Aaron choose. He could still be on tour with his Band all over the world and fill stadiums but he decided to play on small crowds. So this is what you get and he didnt ask for silence...
Always loved this song but hearing Aaron do it acoustic and after cheaters death makes it so eerie I got chills. As far as the crowd yes it was aggravating but remember this is a rock concert and everyone's high or hammered they were being supportive either way love the video and RIP Chester
The original song is emotional to me, but this cover connects on another level. Like I can the pain being conveyed in this. It seriously resonates with him when he sings it and translates so hard
What an irritating crowd , he’s finding it really difficult to hold onto his emotions for Chester and then few jerks are playing dogs out there ! Truly appreciate his tribute ❤️
Chris Cornell, prince, m Jackson, Antony bourdane, the handbag designer, Chester, Alice and chains , layne, I could go on and on... talented, famous and rich....😩 not what makes this world a happy place! Love , family , peace and grounding is the answer 😣🙏❤️🥰😇
