Netflix, just seems to make good shows, so does Amazon. Not sure if they just really know their stuff, and/or they're new to film/TV making so they're bringing in something fresh, but whatever it is they're doing a bang up job of it.

Networks passing on Stranger Things is just another example as to why many people are not watching TV anymore and moving to streaming. Creative shows like this rarely show up anymore and when they do they either pass on them or cancel them early on.

+KingsWithFame because tv series have longer stories and more time to connect with the characters. Very hard to connect with the characters in movies cause it's not long unless it's a movie series but still would prefer a tv series over a movie series.

Same. I never even heard of stranger things until I saw it on Netflix and decided to watch one episode to see if I liked it since it looked interesting and I instantly fell in love the show. Mainly because of the kids and I honestly don't really like kids. Like I'm still not sure if I want kids of my own but this show might've changed my mind 🤔. Btw I love the show because of everything thing else it had to offer. I love the story and the dark supernatural setting so I can't effin wait for season 2!

I've seen it and Don't love anything about this or other shows. Media I don't give any love to. I figure unless, porn is taken off the net completely, fake news is gone, and woman being objectified via media and all programming...I don't love any of it. I don't support mind mashing waste, while things can be improved substantially. Tell your Neighbor you love them, everyday, before saying some programming is. I too am obsessed with this show. I remember reading those MK-Ultra stuff some years ago, and when they tied it in w/ the story, the amazing acting the kids and adults did, and I don't know whatever secret ingredient that captivated a lot of people, it's just a perfect mix of what's mentioned above, references to the most f'ed up project ever in U.S. history, 80's nostalgia, and overall fun. You will laugh, you will cry, you will smile, and you might me scared. Also if you have a crap lighting system, make sure you fix it before watching...trust me.

It's very ironic as 15 other networks refused this show mostly on the context that they did not believe kids would be effective in a show for adults. Yet the kids in this show were phenomenal in their performances, and were part of the reason for this show's greatness.

No. He ruins the show. He was supposed to die in the first season, but ends up basically becoming the main character and by the end, everyone hates the actual main character. He completely "Steve Urkel'd" the show.

Xpertfusion Not for me. Breaking Bad is still in the lead after first season. Better characters, dialogues, arc and story that draws you in.

I met Aaron Paul and his wife + couple of their friends in the street of Manhattan 2 weeks ago, he was so sweet and kind. His wife has the must beautiful smile evah bless them both.
