I have been a hater on nick before but I gotta say. Now that Shannon left undisputed this is my favorite sports show. Good debate that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Keep it up boys and great job nick
It's a debate show that'll talk about stuff besides the cowboys or Tom Brady, unlike first take and old undisputed. The difference here is Mahomes is Nick's version of Brady/cowboys
I thought the Dalvin cook being an ok player was a bit wild but comparing Aaron’s Rodgers to Matt Ryan is crazzzyy 😂 one down year where he didn’t really want to be after back to back MVPs does not make him washed .
Rodgers "down" year was 3700 yrds, 70% completion 25-Tds and 12 INTs, he acts like it was a Russell Wilson type year. Jets defense was top 3 last yr. We not asking Rodgers to be an MVP just be good, had we averaged 21 pts on offense last yr our record would of been 12-5

@@brownie7858 Wilson is great, Hall is arguably great..very good, at min. Cook is in the same neighborhood. Lazard is a good WR2, who has chemistry with Rodgers. Same with Cobb. Hardman is a gadget player for him to work with. Conklin/Uzomah/Ruckert is a solid TE core. Despite the problems at LT and RT, their interior is set with AVT, Tippmann, and Tomlinson. Not saying it's the best supporting cast in NFL, but it's def above average. It's not just Wilson and then a bunch of throwaways like Nick is insinuating

As a Vikings fan, I expect Cook to do big things in New York. He wasn't a great fit for the offense O'Connell wants to have, but he will still be a beast in the right system, and there are other talented RBs to share the load.
Everyone who says cook is Legit, only watched Vikings highlights, not all of Dalvin’s runs. He had more no gain or negative gain plays than any other RB

Im so sick of people pretending like Bradys success in Tampa is solely because of him. Im a Panthers fan so i know NFC South football; he chose them because they were the most ready to compete team that needed the fewest pieces. One of those pieces being QB. Peyton did the same with Denver. Only difference is; Brady came to the NFC South at its weakest in 10 years.
Bucs were loaded and just needed their QB to not be in the 30-30 club. They also got hot at the right time and got some incredible luck in the playoffs
Saints were a powerhouse and only 2 teams showed any interest in Brady Tampa and San Diego that’s why he ended up w Bucs and Arod going to the Jets is the same if not better now there loading up with DCook etc
Pre - 2018, the Chiefs were a good team, with many pieces, but never accomplished much in the post season. However, when Mahomes started in 2018, that all changed. An elite QB like Brady can really elevate a team to levels they could not achieve before. Did he do it by himself? No, but he was the one irreplaceable player.
alijah vera tucker was an all pro through 7 weeks, and breece hall was offensive rookie of the year through 4 years. half of the things nick said blatantly aren’t true
Why do they always forget Breece Hall. I know he’s coming off an ACL tear and that’s never good first season back but before he tore it he looked like one of the best RBs in the league. Plus the ACL tear was a very simple clean tear and supposedly he’s going to be ready to play week 1. Maybe he has a slow start to the season but by week 6-8 range I’d expect him to be playing at least to 90% what he was last year. 90% of last year Breece Hall is better than 100% Dalvin at this stage of his career.
Breece hall is a baller, if you look at his stats he was easily a top 10 maybe even top 5 in terms of productions when they gave him at least 10 carries (Weeks 4-7) I get that he's coming off an injury and Dalvin may be needed earlier in the year, but by November Breece is going to be fully fully back and breaking a whole bunch of tackles. If the OL is solid, this offence could be great
last two years he been solid but not top 5. 1170 yards on 4.4 per carry is good but not elite, especially considering last year he wasn't much of a receiving threat. Chubb, CMC, Ekeler, Henry, Saquon, Jacobs all undoubtedly better at this point But you could still argue top 10 and definitely top 15 so ppl saying he's washed or done is wild. He one of the best backups in the league for sure. (Breece will take over top spot by year's end)
Nick. How is Rodgers not closer to Tom Brady. I don’t even like him but he does has 4 mvps. Won 2 back to back recently. Also Stafford who isn’t Tom Brady won a Super Bowl when he changed teams.
Jets, Bills, Dolphins, Patriots in this order. I think the Patriots will struggle in the most Quarterback strong division. Pats will do good but because of the talent, finish behind the Dolphins.
Why do these guys fail to bring up the full jets wr core of Wilson, Lazard, hardman, and Corey Davis. Good ovr group. The tight ends are a deep group (Conklin, uzomah, ruckert). And breece/dalvin is a really good 1-2 punch. That’s a very good group of talent.
Aaron has not gotten any worse, they simply just took away his main weapon. A QB needs a main weapon, he had none. I think he’s gonna have one of his best years this year.
Any time a all pro quarterback changes teams such as Brett farve and Joe Montana, John Elway,Tom Brady, the pieces are already there and they fall into place seemlessly

Nick you’re underrating Breece Hall. He was off to an amazing start last year and HE’S A PASS CATCHER TOO. I’m not high on the Jets but Breece is a playmaker. They could honestly put him in at receiver and move him to RB sometimes like Deebo Samuel.
I think starters should play at least 4 quarters, together, throughout the pre-season You get better, as a unit, by playing, as a unit. This not playing starters at all in the pre-season is not it. As Nick said, the Chiefs are all about fine-tuning their game in the pre-season, and not living in fear
If hall did not get hurt he will be saying they got two skilled players he must have forgotten hall was the leading offensive rookie of the year until he got hurt then his teammates Wilson took over the lead and brought it home
lol yeah Breece is a beast. 5.8 YPC in 2022 behind that OL? Tho it was a more limited work load but he could easily come out averaging 5 YPC and 80-90 YPG in 2023 if they really use him. And then Dalvin as a change of pace? If the OL can block, it may be like a poorer man's Chubb/Hunt

One correction: You can't really say DeShaun Watson has failed yet and the jury is still out on Russell Wilson (although I think that's going nowhere). Favre, Montana, Manning, Warner, and Brady all made it to at least conference championship games and the last three went to Super Bowls with their seconds teams.

It doesn’t necessarily solve their OL issues, but signing Jason Peters would be a good step for the Jets. He’s injury-prone, but he can still deliver when healthy, has great experience, and would be relatively cheap

Not drafting a 1st round offensive player for how many years is best run? Not bringing in free agents for the offensive is well run? Jets have done more in 1 off-season for rodgers than the packers did for the last decade. They had Favre and Rodgers carry them for almost 40 years.
