There is zero chance RFK offers Rodgers any position. This is all planted hype. RFK needs to announce his VP pick soon because of ballot access rules. He's met with several prominent figures who appeal to his base. Rodgers is the only one who hasn't held office. RFK's camp is teasing Rodgers because he is a prominent, outspoken celebrity with a huge media platform, and Rodgers appeals to exactly the voter RFK targets. Furthermore, Rodgers has affinity with the libertarian movement, and RFK is in talks with the Libertarian Party to affiliate with them in states that have extremely restrictive ballot access for independents (e.g., Rodgers' home state of California). Rodgers isn't being courted for VP. He's being courted to be a campaign surrogate.

Obviously it's great fodder for Pat's show and he has to address it, but in talking about this we're kinda giving their campaign exactly what they wanted - undeserved attention.
