Coaching does matter especially when the previous defensive minded HC never had a defense in the top 15 of the league or even top 20. Harbaugh has a proven record in college and the NFL of turning teams around quickly. I am not saying they will be a lock for the playoffs but they will be a strong contender in the hunt.

I seem to remember Rodgers playing through a broken thumb or hand during 2022 season - so little unfair calling 2022 his last fully-healthy season. Rodgers never had a defense like this Jets defense. It is a lock that Jets go to playoffs!

@@TreWimsical Aaron Rodgers in 1-4 in nfc championship games so 5 games. Rodgers is also 80-10 w the packers when the defense gives up 20 points or less. Which is a very high win percentage. Not saying Rodgers perfect cause no qb is even Brady but a lot of these games by other qbs don't have 2 constantly score as much as Rodgers. They have 2 "score when it counts" there's no scoring when it counts if your defense is horrific like that..

This is a defense that kept 10 out of 17 opponents to 21 points or less last year. League average points per game is 22ish. He doesn't need to be a superstar. He needs to just be a part of a team that that put up at least 21 points every game. The REST of this offense is built like it should be high scoring. To a great extent any decent QB would give the pass game enough credibility that other defenses can't just triple team G Wilson and let their defensive front try to stuff B Hall. Once there is even any decent QB play requiring a defense to respect WR 2/3 and tight ends it totally changed our offensive projections. It's not that Rodgers is lifting this team to new heights. It's that all we needed was a QB above replacement level and we got one that is, unarguably, better than that. He doesn't need to be a superstar but he *could* be

I wish SPEAK would give me 10 mins vs Shady to completely dismantle his anti-Rodgers BS. 2022 Rodgers #1 WR was Allen Lazard.(Hes probably the 4-5th WR on the roster in 2024) GB WRs led the league in drops. He had a broken thumb, bruised ribs, and a run defense that was in the bottom of the league. Despite all that.... Rodgers STILL had 26/12 and 3700. The previous 2 years before, he was MVP. Give him a compliment of top tier offensive talent, and an elite defense and Rodgers is going to make Shady look like a clown.

How do yall think that Aron Rodgers is a top 2 QB of All time?! That’s crazy! The dude never passed for 5000 Yards. He never had 50 tds. Brady and Mahomes have had 50 tds. Brady has passed for 5000 or more 2 or 3 times. Drew Brees has passed for 5000 or more 6 times!! Aron Rodgers is good in passer rating. And that’s because he didn’t throw many interceptions. He was more concerned about his TD to INT ratio and his passer rating.

If the Jets O line can keep him upright I could see them making the playoffs but he will likely struggle against some of the better defenses they play. That opener against SF with that defense could make it ugly for the Jets on the road. The AFC East is still owned by Buffalo so we'll see.

I actually believe that they will be good this year. If he plays the jets will be contenders. And honestly maybe the jets @ chiefs for the AFC Championship?! I think it’s possible. Obviously I’m already 50 percent right 😂

The jets are definitely going to make the playoffs. The AFC east got significantly weaker so they should win the division.

There's a lot of talent and good players on defense. At CB, Sauce is back to back 1st team all pro. DJ Reed is also good CB. At LB Quincy Williams was a 1st team all pro last season, and CJ Mosely is good. At DT, Quinnen Williams was a probowler last season and 1st team all pro the year before. At DE, Reddick and Jermaine Johnson were also both probowlers last year.

I predict a 9-8 season for the Jets. You can argue semantics about which teams are good/bad but half their schedule is against playoff caliber teams. I doubt the Jets can win every single one of those games plus they might falter a game or 2.
