Time for the offense to get their sh!t together. One out of five games has been close to the offense we expected. Players need to win their assignments to give the plays a chance. The film review has been horrendous. So many missed blocks (especially from the TE's). Hoping for a good showing on Monday. Honestly, it's exhausting being a die hard fan of this team. That said, LFG!

The firing of Saleh aside, the fact that Aaron had openly politicked for Nathaniel Hackett as the Jets offensive coordinator has and will reflect poorly on him. It's as if no one in the Jets front office even bothered to take a harder look at the disaster that Hackett had created in Denver. Nothing personal against Hackett, but the man is not a good coach or coordinator, but just a "yes" man.

Coordinators fail as head coaches all the time and go back to being successful coordinators. It's a completely different job. His time with Denver wouldn't have been considered much in a decision to get him back to OC. Jax went to the AFC championship with Blake Bottles with Hack calling plays. That's an accomplishment. Aaron won back to back MVPs with him calling plays. It"s the same way teams would be chomping at the bit for Saleh if he were available for DC. They don't care about his head coaching record.

50,50 chance your statement will be correct, but Aaron Rodgers has been doubted since junior high, I'm not saying he's in top form , but he's proven every single person for 30 years wrong, if they call plays and design an offense around his age and physical condition he will be very good, he will adjust to where he is and how he feels.Jets definitely have a chance to go far this year. Idk, i believe in this guy.

@@Murf1802, no, he hasn't "proven everyone wrong". He was picked in the 1st round, yes, not at the very top, but that's still quite high for any NFL player, and he was the second quarterback taken in his draft. His talent was judged pretty fairly and he was not doubted. He was also given a chance to sit and watch a HoF quarterback while learning the ropes. After Favre left, they made him a starter right away, even though his NFL statline at the time was like 35-59 for about 320 with 1 TD and 1 pick. After that, he was given a lot of power in Green Bay despite some shaky (sometimes downright choky) playoff performances. The guy was never seriously doubted, he had a lot of recognition. All of that was for good reason - he obviously is very talented, he capitalised on that potential and will deservedly be a first-ballot HoFer. However, he likes to think that he was doubted, when in reality it was just a few teams not taking him in the first round and some HS/college stufff which is really just a crapshoot anwyay. His ego just can't take someone thinking he's not absolutely the best. Don't try to make him into another Purdy, Warner or, God forbid, Brady. This is not even close.

I mean the blocking has been atrocious past few games. You don’t establish the run, everything else offensively struggles. Football 101. A lot of missed throws and a ton of bad drops. End of the day tons of blame to go around.
