You can't have sustainable culture of winning apart from a deep farm system with emphasis on pitching. Hopefully, the Mets management is finally waking up to this truth.

Our so called biggest stars have been killing us all year. Alonso, Lindor, McNeil and Diaz who we expect so much from have been huge disappointments. This team is flat out unwatchable!

This team has absolutely mailed it in. Not a single guy in that clubhouse has an ounce of respect for mendoza and the front office has no grasp on the pulse of the team

They have 1 more month to turn it around or else the team will be blown up at the deadline. It's a long season, but it isn't that long for a team this out of it.
the only reason this book is out because the Yankee are having a great season otherwise I doubt it would be out. i'm a Yankees fan and I'm happy we're where at but we got to deliver. the season is good but ultimately in November we want to be the last team standing.
