Amazing grooves combined with amazing chops! Most drummers have either one or the other, but Aaron was blessed with both! R.I.P. Mr Aaron Spears. Dude! You left us way too soon! Thank you for the inspiration of how drummers are supposed to be, professional and musical! Thank you Bro!🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾👍🏾

Sudden, explosive, clean and still dripping with flavor all within the context of the groove... While smiling like it's lite-work.. LOL!! My personal favorite modern drummer. Pure mastery. Like a Steve Gadd (my classic fave) on gospel-hi-hop, nitrous!! LOL!!

Your style is your own. I gotta refer to your Usher "You Don't Have To Call" live drum session. Whew, I watched that video, no BS, twenty times starting. You were beasting them drums and with megga swag and with ease. Still a favorite for mine. You're blessed and no doubt paid the cost. Peace.

As well as being able to blast it fast and hard, Aaron plays with a lot of sparseness in his grooves so u could easily pick out the slightest mistake. But he don't make them!
