OK since making the vid the guy has admitted they didn't service it and will look into other things So basically they jetwashed it and moved it on Link to reviews www.google.co.uk/search?cs=0&...
I think the morale of the story is just pay the deposit. Once they've got your money they're in no hurry to do anything . Really sorry to hear your tale, a large sum of money for a small trader to invest in these times.
This is Evans Halshaws standard across board, i bought a 2015 Focus from them and they delivered it to me and handed me the keys with a broken gearbox that lunged forward and would get stuck in 3rd gear, they told me it was serviced and full service history when it's had 4 services all its life and last one being 40k miles ago, timing belt was apparently changed but my garage had a look and its had same belt on it since leaving factory, fast forward a month and i woke up to all my windows down and my car full of water! turns out Fords are really bad for water leaks and the previous owner had used sealer on the boot but hadn't worked fully so water leaked in and ruined all electrics in boot, only when i started civil action agaisn't them did they give me a refund. My mate sold his car to EH and within hours of dropping it off it was up for sale which shows you the work they do to them, all they do is wack a few grand on top and that's it they don't service them or valet them and will tell you anything to have you buy it.
You've got more patience than me mate. If I was dropping 14 bags in someones lap I'd at least expect some common courtesy and less bullshittery or the boy would be driving it back home again. Hope it pans out alright 👍
If it was say 10 years ago I would of had the sales man by the throat and telling him to fuck off but age and the fact it seems to happen everytime I buy something I'm getting used to it. It's like a content battle
New subscriber to the channel If I had been given that van would have taken it straight back makes you wonder what other things they've not bothered to check or fix/replace
That's no to far either. I waiting on the outcome of what they say they have done to truck to see weather or not i keep it soaybe looking for a new van XT week
You've had disgusting customer service from them, I'd be asking for my money back. It was never valeted and the back was a disgrace. The only thing I'd have been driving on delivery day was the little runt who dealt with you.
Hello Mike me and the Mrs,having been saying for along time now, that there just isn't the service or after sales service for that matter anymore, seems to be in alot of industries sadly.what they think is good or acceptable strictly is not.
Had the same. Really shocked at sales and after sales process. None of the stock prepped before sale which I can sort of understand if you are going to pull your finger out fulfilling sold stock. Boggled my mind at the time, cancelled the purchase in the end.
I agree with everything you've said. I'd have been asking for my money back after 2 weeks, awful customer service and probably won't get any better, send it back it will be rotten in 6 months
You're spot on fella - I'd be kickin off big time. At the end of the day they had £££££'s of your money sat in their bank and you not able to earn. I agree totally, if someone tells you they are going to do something and they don't time after time then they are just taking the mickey. Imagine if we did that to our customers, we wouldn't be in business in a very short time. I'm looking to get a LWB Vivaro so I'll be very interested in how you get on with it 👍
So far it seems OK bar the issues iv found. A lot smaller than my last too but I'm going to invest in a trailer to take up any space when I do my hedge rounds
@@lincsfencingandgardeningse9128 I need to invest in a new trailer also - I had mine stolen last year, but they are like hen's teeth and so bloody expensive.
@@hoehoehoegardeningservices306 your jot kidding the ones I was looking at lasy year and year before ware like just over a grand dnew now there 2+ new and nouch less second hand
Hi Mike sorry to hear about your van. Hope you dont get any more problems. Did you have to scrape your blue van? I used to work in a body repair garage years ago and all motors were clean before collected what ever year they were. That’s what you did. Enjoy your weekend mate 👍👍
I'd of rejected it the moment he dropped it off. The fact you've accepted it in that condition might make it harder for you in the future if you chose to try and return it.
Nope I get 7 days to test drive it with a no argument return us I didn't sign fo rit to say I was happy. If they refuse to take it back I will go park it across drive and lock it up. They will have to give me my money or I won't move it 😁
Kev here in Ireland where I got my van 3 months warranty it’s 6years old and some things went wrong with it after the 3 months and they still covered it and I didn’t have to pay
Now that's customer service and what you want. Because even if say it cost them a grand to sort they will get more in return from your returning custom and the people who you tell. I've just put this out and if the 700 of my subs watch it that's possibly 10 people put off going to them
I had a similar experience with Ford, they certainly aren't the company they used to be, chap selling to me was so aggressive. With the pandemic they shouldn't have as much work yet they do less.
Very tempted to but I will give them the benifit and see what they come back with on Monday if if they try and fob me off it will be back. And I will have to search again. Lol
Mate, I tottally understand, dealers ore all dodgy, My car was an ex hire car only 8k on the clock, but they neglected to tell me it had a ding, and when I pointed it out they didn't want to know, Wym (the connect) had loads of issues, I wanted to call him growler, because a year later his exhaust fell off, had an injector fault from day 1, wrote a very stern and official letter, they cam to collect and the van came back with a chip in the screen (that tuned into a crack and had to be replaced) and was absolute fulthy. NEVER again
You have every reason to be pissed fella. More patience than me. You just spent £14000.. and they treat you like that.. I’m looking at investing in a new van. Gonna stay clear of evans halshaw 👍🏻
That's a very good way of looking at it fella and proberbly the only way. Altho I've seen the response on the website to bad reviews and it's just a standerd corporate way to respond. Which will lead to nowt
What a nightmare i have 2 good mates who deal in vans when i wanted one i went straight to them and had nothing but troublefrom them sent it back took ages to get my money back spent 13 k ended buying a fiat scudo of face book lol been brilliant just pot luck i guess
your not a whinger mate you've just spent £14 k sorry but I would take it back they have spoilt the whole experience they basicly don't deserve your hard earned cash. been through the same experience with cars & vans mate nothing built to last & no one gives a toss . best of luck
Words fail me, you are paying good money for a good van and you would expect a very good service from a main dealer. If you or I treated our clients like that we would be bankrupt very quickly. What a piss off. Don’t let the bastards bring you down. I would go back to the garage and demand to speak to a Manager and complain about the plywood and the lack of attention to detail.
That's shocking customer service!! You pay that amount of money and they cant even be bothered to clean it? Lazy bastards all they care about is the money, leave them a lovly review and maybe post this on their facebook page
My mistake I paid in full should ofade them work for it Andd I know its not the most anyone could spend there but its a lot for me as it ould of been the biggest investment iv ever made
The issue was you paid for it in full from the start, they had your money and had no reason to rush, I’d have slapped the shit out of the bellend. I’d be handing them the keys back unless they cover the cost to replace the tyres, get it properly valeted and new ply lining.
Andd Thts what I've asked for and won't take any less and you are right I handed the cash over and they didn't even have to work for it. I bet if I only paid the 500nhe wanted and then that turned up it would of gone straight back
