I would have put a post next to the house for sure and would have got them level for the little amount it went up just seems lazy... i suppose times money and need to get paid and move on
Why do you offer a £50 discount for cash payments? And legally once you deliver materials to a client's, they become their property and you can be done for removing them. So wrong I know but that's the law. I make sure I get enough payment up front so if it goes belly up, I'm not out of pocket. No pre payment, no work. Simples.
Take a big deposit. We take 30% deposit on the signing of the contract. 30 % on start of the job. The balance is on completion. We don't have confusion about money. On the job we ask them, have they given the bank notice for cash? We let them know that we will be finishing tomorrow and the balance is due. It's amazing how many tradesmen or entrepreneurs are embarrassed about money talk. We won't be made a beggar for our own money. PS I would have thought you'd just charge for dog shit. When you take new customers on, let them know a few ground rules. Dog shit must be pretty common in your game. And from the punters point of view , what's the point in having a dog and barking yourself? 😊 Carry a few poop bags. Use their bin. One poo one bag and charge so much a bag. That will soon have them picking up
I've just given up a commercial contract (small apartment block) because a tenant let's his cat shit all over the lawns. Management company totally ineffective at sorting the issue out. So after months of putting up with it. I walked. I'm not there to pick cat shit up. We'll actually, I'm not there anyway now.
How you doing my friend good to see you again. I would warn them about the poo, like you do will let the first time slide but definitely not again. It's not our job to clean up the mess agreed. Nice chatting to you the other week at the coop.
Don't give discounts if it cash, at least don't put in on RU-vid 😂 I run a window cleaning business. All customers are DD. If any payment doesn't clear, I'll start calling and emailing until I get paid. As for dog poo, a polite chat and let them know you can't service them if there is dog poo. Offer to send a text when your coming. Our system can do this automatically. Problem solved. If they just ignore you, dump them.
Just say at the beginning if there’s poo I won’t do it and stick to my words. Payment wise even with my regulars I’ll chase payment a day after by text or call.
cheese n spice you have aged...lol only kidding. thanx fpor the mention, I guess there are two trains of thought, are you doing youtube for yourself or everyone else? a lot of youtube now, is "click baity" you have to have a catchy title and thumbnail, intros are out outros are in, personally I like a good debatable chatty video, something I can oppose too, lol, I like progression videos, like LHL where you can see things moving forward,
There are plenty of videos you can make in a limited number of gardens; you just need to think about it differently and think outside the box at times.
Way too many youtubers overdo production and editing. Simple vlog is fine, content is what most want to see. Make it easy on yourself and more content is way to go.
There are so many fake sellers out there with covered plates or make you believe in low milage which was not real as you look at the condition of a van, and smoke from engine like sprinter which should not smoke at all even those well used by good men from 2009, I personally will buy an older sprinter well maintained from a private honest seller than a younger one from a dealer .
Having just done 4 panels and 5 concrete posts in my own garden I definitely appreciate the hard graft it takes with fencing on your own 👍 I’m a broken man lol
i swaped from hayter after having the same design 41 pro having had 2 gear box and roller frame in same year under warranty im useing weibang for roller mower now picks up awsome
This is Evans Halshaws standard across board, i bought a 2015 Focus from them and they delivered it to me and handed me the keys with a broken gearbox that lunged forward and would get stuck in 3rd gear, they told me it was serviced and full service history when it's had 4 services all its life and last one being 40k miles ago, timing belt was apparently changed but my garage had a look and its had same belt on it since leaving factory, fast forward a month and i woke up to all my windows down and my car full of water! turns out Fords are really bad for water leaks and the previous owner had used sealer on the boot but hadn't worked fully so water leaked in and ruined all electrics in boot, only when i started civil action agaisn't them did they give me a refund. My mate sold his car to EH and within hours of dropping it off it was up for sale which shows you the work they do to them, all they do is wack a few grand on top and that's it they don't service them or valet them and will tell you anything to have you buy it.
I've never tried it . Have no reason to try it never had any issues with petrol out the pump. I think if your turning and burning fuel I don't see any bennifits to use it . I've had a strimmer sat for 2 years and it fired straight up with out any issues. So unless I start to have problems I will not be using this .. as of today 15.10.2023 the price for a 5litre aspen 2 is £32.99 .. 5 litres of fuel is £7.45
