Please react to 'Pavizha Mazhaye' from the movie 'athiran' Sung by K.S. Harishankar( Malayalam ) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P-jKtzUuVcM.html
This song is such a sensation that until now if someone messages you "sun" (listen) the other person replies "suna" and the whole lyrics continue. It's a fun joke. And legit NO ONE FORGOT THIS SONG. even little kids know it due to its unique conversational lyrics and beat. 💖💖
Aamir for the first time sang in his own voice for this song .You should also check out the song SRK has sung ...Apun bola from the movie Josh. The song is quite funny, SRK and Aishwarya Rai play siblings in that movie.
He was playing street boy character....This what street boys use to wear in 90's... So being a perfectionist he brought cloths from street to play this character...
She’s upset before the songs comes up & he’s trying to cheer her up with his antics 💖 he’s playing a street dog (taporie) kinda character in this movie hence the clothes 😂
@@laxus9451 i don't care about whether it was trying to recreate another movie, but her part did not belong within 100 miles of the plot. Minus that movie was good.
गौरवमिश्र Just like how you don’t care about whether it was a remake, even your comment is nowhere related to @sonia ‘s comment mentioning how can they forget Rani. Stop being irrelevant.
@@gauravmshr it's not about part necessary or unnecessary.. It's abt the song reaction in which rani is there n they forget to credit her or remember her so.. Anyways I liked her part in the movie n it was reasonable as she was also the sis of the man who was fighting for justice but killed...
Aamir in the whole movie wears the similar clothes and talks with the similar expression 😂😂 .... He was still in character in the song😂😂.... And the movie is great too if you would like to react to it
Yeah. But the portrayal of gangsters is cheesy. Look at gangsters today: Ganesh Gaitonde, Faizal Khan, Munna Bhai even if he's comedic. So much more realistic.
He is not Gaitonde kind of gangster. He is the tapori gangster. Have seen so many people like him in Mumbai. His attire couldn't be more real! Infact Nawazuddin Siddiqui does the exact same thing in Sarfarosh! Including the handkerchief. And it is iconic. "aasmaan mein"!
This song was huge when it was released, but it was never meant to be taken seriously. It was a total feel good song with good laughs XD. The dialect of the song can't be felt through subtitles but it is also super casual. P.S Whoever told you Chaiyya chaiyya was meant to be cheese didn't know what they were talking about!
The reason why he was dressed like this because of his character in that movie. He was playing a funny roadside guy who sells movie tickets in black but had a golden heart. Intention was to make him look innocent, cunning yet funny. He did played his character flawlessly.
Guys in comment you noticed how they react on lower move which they relate to SEX. But when we watch it we don't even think about the sex move.. actually they made me think that this is a sex move... Same thing they are doing here... They try to find choreography.. well fuck choreography when natural acts do the job to which we can relate to.... Same thing they do to Classical music. Do you think they will understand the depth of the Great NFAK ? NEVER.
@@Sahirsaharanpuri you mean the way they have to constantly point out it’s a pelvic thrust? I find that so weird, must be a western thing that they think it’s weird because I don’t know I guess they can’t do it or don’t do it often,I just can’t see what’s weird about it,I don’t even give it a second thought like they do.
I beg to differ, because it is more or less accurate depiction of the "Tapori" outfit of the era. And it is actually a fantastic movie overall. The ending is superb.
This is actually not a song we considered cheesy at all. The wardrobe is in keeping with the character. And Ghulam is actually a really watchable movie. Substantial storyline, really solid performances and overall a good watch. Nor the regular Bollywood 90s movie.
Really love the way you pick the songs and handle the reactions. Aamir played the role of a local goon of Mumbai. The clothes/costume was apt for that character... You'll find even today many locals in Mumbai especially in slums of Mumbai wearing such costume. The raised collar of a three-button down shirt or a skin-tight tucked-in T-shirt plus a Handkerchief on the neck had always been their signature style - out and out loud to show their boldness. Jackie Shroff wore this in many movies as he played the role of local goon in many movies. So did Anil Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, SRK, Vijay Raaz, etc. This is more like a cultural representation of a kind of community of India.
I just love how you guys always have the right attitude and expectations towards the video you are watching, unlike many other people who watch this stuff seriously and then just don't get the point of it.
They didn't get the point at all. This is neither cheesy nor cringey. Infact it has aged perfectly. Amir is a gangster in this movie! The red scarf was iconic "tapori" fashion. The dance is very rowdy too!!! Literally has 0 cheese.
And this is what happens when white privilege takes over and two people who have absolutely zero knowledge of not just the Indian social landscape but also older cinema except for popular bubble gum n pretentious brand of videos made for NRI audiences n foreigners view actual Indian videos thru their gentrified lenses. I started off thinking these ppl r objective and will view things within the context on the movie or the situation or even the character but having come from a life of relative privilege they just don't get it at all. I wish someone would bring out some Rick's old work and pass judgement on it the way he passes judgement on this work without context in a manner that borders of judgemental n cultural appropriation. Their white privilege needs to be checked. The number of times these ppl actually date a video 10 to 15 years prior to when it was made and laugh about it as if they could do something better is just the height of arrogance, pretension and entitlement. I'm repasting this from my main reply as I want more ppl who liked this song n view it properly to feel they have support.
They didn't get the video at all. The video isn't cringey. Aamir was supposed to look like a goon. Rani was not. Hence the outfit. That's how a goon would sing n dance
They hate salman. So forget that. O o jane jana along with other good songs of salman have been requested for months, but they didnt care. They dont even review dabang 3 trailer. What do u expect?
@@r.rahman12 i asked them on video of hum saath saatj hain to watch atleast Bhajrangi Bhaijaan. He is a huge star, cant be putten aside. U have few people who r bringing him down for his acting in race 3. That film was a flop, story ditection everything. He does masala films, but he did somd great acting. Same people who r talking bad r the same who will praise him in his face. I find him a great actor.. the only actor who can tear up for a role us Salman
@@bambi274 korbin and rick will not watch salman khan's good films, but they will watch lal kaptaan which is a disaster. They will watch akshay kumar. So dont waste time in requesting salman khan stuff.
@@usualanamoly You are completely entitled to your opinion, but I don't agree with your comment at all. 100 Aamir == 1 Marlon Brando, nonsense or Maybe you meant the opposite. But I guess we have atleast one thing in common, and that's One Piece. 😂😂😂 #OnePieceGreatness
Mr Rick and korbin, outfits has nothing to do with "cheezy" Stuff, it's his rebel bad ass character in the film who is low class but very courageous man, as compare to the girl she belongs to a rich sober family. Director is intelligent to keep the character smell like they are in the story line.
I don't agree thats cheesy. Her outfit is any casual dress. He is a street thug. So his outfit suits the character. Hi antics are goofy and the song lyrics matches that. It's a very cool song and video.
This was the anthem growing up for us 90s kids. It says in The Bhagwat Geeta that If you don't reply to "hey what do you say?" With "hey what do I say?" Then you will rott in hell.
He had the best outfits in this movie and “dil hai ke manta nahi”😍 Also please react to “Apun bola tu meri laila” from “Josh” movie featuring Srk and Aishwarya. And that matchstick scene made everyone go crazy, every guy was trying this stunt to impress people😂😂
90's has many really good songs from films as well as Indi-pop albums. Every decade has fair number of cheesy songs. But, 90's music had a lot of creativity and charisma, that's why nowadays most of Bollywood songs are remixes of 90's songs...
Fun fact: Aamir Khan sang the song himself...and this song doesn't seem cheesy if you know the context behind it and also the character Aamir Khan plays in this movie...even the clothes and the accessories are like that cos he plays a particular character in the movie.
Mehooba mehooba song by Akshay Kumar. That's a hit till now. "BADSHAAH title song" or " apun bola tu Meri Laila" by Sah rukh Khan. Shah rukh Khan is the funniest yet serious actor.
Aamir Khan is one such thing in Bollywood. He does his job with honesty and devotion. He forgets each character's own personality and prepares himself for the character.
Throughout all those great reactions, blinded by the 'Cheese' of the 90's,once again you forgot Rani Mukherjee - how in the world, being in the film business do you forget really great talented folks you are already exposed to... 😊😂💟Yup.. The effect of too much CHEESE on the brain😂😂🙏
Fun Fact :- That matchstick trick in the end was such a rage back then that there were multiple cases of people burning their tongue while doing that ! It had become so controversial that the makers were forced to cut that scene in the final cut of the movie. Till date that matchstick trick is not shown when it comes on TV. Such a small thing.. but it really had a great impact.
Aamir Khan sang it.. he played a tapori(slang for Mumbai small gangster).. that's why such dance... The song was a huge hit and people were crazy for it.. the movie was a super hit as well
He's playing a Tapori and has nailed the character. Taporis - their unique style of speaking Hindi was called tapori language. They also had a unique style of dressing, which they called as tapori style. Tapori culture though resented by many is widely imitated by many as humorous or comical. It has found acceptance in Bollywood films including "Rangeela", "Gol Mal", and "Chasme Buddoor".
If u want to react Sharukh khan 90s cheese song , then u must react song : 1-Kuch to bata aree kuck to bata (movie : phir bhi dil hai hindustani ) . 2- suniye to kuch kahiye yo ( movie : yes boss ). 2- mere mehboob mere sanam (movie : Duplicate ).they all song are funny and so cheese .😁😁😁😁😁
I remember it on TV . In my kindergarten graduation program, I was asked to sing, I was asked to sing any song,of course without knowing the contents . My parent's and my principal had a meeting later😎 and I a stern talking to😭😭.
