This padam, composed by Swathi Thirunal, is originally set to a plot where the naayika is describing to her sakhi, in agony, how Lord Giridhar arrived at her doorstep after spending the time with a damsel of Vraj.
Here, Vid Veena C Seshadri dove into the spiritual aspect of this padam, representing the journey one travels, the emotional turmoil, which starts with pure bhakti , when one has nothing, which is later bound by a bit of arrogance when one is shown grace. The arrogance grows to a level where one starts showing authority and pushes everything away and when one is left with nothing is when they realise the worth of the grace.
