In my opinion, if we ignore all the stats, centuries, runs and just look at the skills, AB de villiers is the greatest ODI batsman of all time and definitely one of the greatest in test.

Fun Fact: ABD is the only player in 146 years history of Cricket who has a ODI career average of 50+ and Strike rate of 101+. (Minimum 5000 runs)

Not true - this is why you need a minimum runs qualifier! Peter McGlashan, Ben Wheeler (no average), Sam Hain, Shubman Gill and Krunal Pandya all fit this, and Shubman has over 2000 runs!

If gill continues this and ends his career with same strike rate and average then i will be wrong but you never know whats gonna happen in future so i am talking about retired players in the history of the game.

Jason Holder who's not a bad bowler, here's his stats in that game. Before AB came out to bat, it was 5-2-9-1(1st spell). He ended up with 10-2-104-1. Which means 95 runs in his second spell of 5 overs. Only these stats can tell how brutal the destruction was.
