I don't care if he's won World Cups or not, talent and skills wise he is the greatest batsman I have ever seen in my life. Nobody could play like him. He could score a 100 in 31 balls or he could defend like his life depended on it. There was no shot that wasn't in his book, no corner of the ground obscure from his vision. He bashed anyone and absolutely everyone when he was in the mood and there was nothing anybody could do about it. He could do it all
I thought every one always says Sanchen Tendalker or Don Bradmen were the best batsman of all time…but as an American I probably don’t really know what I’m talking about
Ali floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee in the boxing ring Federer did the same on the tennis court AB De Villiers followed suit on the cricket field.
Among the greats & the best in Cricket , AB will always stand tall ! 👌👌 Listening to him , loved his attitude to the game & life - lovely the Video ! 👌👌🙏
AB De Villiers in a individual sport would have done much more than it is usually seen of him in Cricket.. Imagine had he hold on to Tennis racket instead of cricket bat, would the world have seen his name besides Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, who knows? He is a natural athelte, his instincts, fitness and trigger movements are there to see....

Player of his class would have played till now if he had been in Pakistan, England, or other team.... I still remember his retirement day when one of my friends called me and told me... I didn't said a word, watched that video many a times and cried 😭.... I prayed and messaged AB on his twitter account but found no reply... I kept waiting for him to come , I felt hell beside me... Only I know how much I cried for this guy, how much I miss him... Love you man... Stay blessed 💖💕
Same happened with me I used to read newspaper everyday so that I could get any information about him comming back in cricket,I watched every single video regarding his comeback ,but I could only watch him in ipl😢😢 Then again after some years I was at my school and one of my friend informed me about his retirement . It was really the baddest day 😢 Still I have hopes in my heart of his comeback but.......@@mehrajdin3632
Someone who is an exceptionally gifted sportsman, but who honed his talent, and is humble and an all-round good guy who lives out his Christian faith. Utmost respect for him...!

My country has many talented cricketers - each with fantastic best figures. BUT South Africa 🇿🇦 will continue to fail in major competitions (World Cup ?) because we NEVER look at the scoreboard and adopt our play in the best interests of the team (country ?). Rather our team is made up of 12 talented individuals who believe a cricket pitch is their own stage, and everyone is gathered at the stadium to only see their prowess - and so each of the 12 play a very self/centred game.
I notice everyone talks about his natural talent (which of course he has in spades) but I think a lot of the brilliance is found in the attention to details. The little hop when he catches the ball...seems silly, but it's those little things that add up to him being in the top percentile of participants at whatever he does. With the exception of the music career 😅
