AB testing Marantz v Vincent Audio paired with Troels Gravesen Ekta mkII v AVI Duo 

i had the vincent 237 mkll about a week ago . It played wonderfully for about ten minutes and then it broke down . the right speaker would shut down at higher volumes and or triple in sound suddenly. i thought it would destroy my speakers ,so i traded it in for a Marantz model30 . the main difference to me was in the ' depth of the sound stage . both were very clear with good separation in between the speakers , but the vincent had a sense of 'depth ' where one was immersed into the sound , while the Marantz was like a wall of sound in front of me that would not let me enter into that space at any volume . i kept the marantz because i couldn't risk another episode where my speakers might be ruined by the faulty vincent . i'm sure this is a rare event but ?

I really enjoyed the second setup the most. I really enjoyed them all. Must sound amazing in person. I really like those AVI's sound great.

I thought I'd prefer the Vincent but I still prefer the marantz. To me is has delicacy that the Vincent doesn't have.

Vincent, hands down. Marantz is just HiFi sound, lacks in every aspect, especially voice, while Vincent produces truly High End sound, more resolution, fine micro detail, plus tube fluidity adds more body and space to the stage image.

I am not able to know when the Vincent is playing and when the Marantz amp is playing. Sounds the same to me from beginning to end. Now I got it. I think the Marantz has a warmer sound. I had a Vincent Hybrid years ago, but it was too bright for my taste. I choose the Marantz!

Vincent amp is more fluid and clear through the whole range but with more obvious "s". Marantz more dry and more midbass.

Hey Dante, love the sound of the Vincent and thinking of swooping one, but I do have a pretty small room with ventilation restrictions (homeboy downstairs has control). Does the amp get pretty warm or add much heat to the room running in class A?

I like your speakers sound...you had to build them?...I like my Dali Rubicon's but thinking of trying the Dali Epicon series....In this video the Vincent is much better...more clarity,detail, air and a wider sound stage...by the way...i sold my Marantz that was okay and purchased the Vincent SV-737 and never looking back!🎶🎶🎶

I have a Vincent SV-737 hybrid 4ohm 2X300...more power than this one...cost about 1000 more and thats worth it! can run any speakers with authority! maybe not available in the US? ✌️😁
