Thanks very much sir, I'M from Sierra Leone I have watched and listen to nearly all your videos posted here, Keep up the good work and may the Almighty God continue to bless and protect you
Yes 1990, I remember seeing people with radio listening to Okar's speech. Later in the day we heard Abachas familiar voice signaling the truncation of the Okar coup.
@@hassanal-mustapha1321 It was just like yesterday. Time flies by very quickly. To add to it, I also remembered watching the NTA News on that Sunday evening of April 22nd 1990 in that they showed President Ibrahim Babangida wearing a Black colored sun eyeglasses in the gathering of the Senior Armed Officials in a meeting just after the termination of the Coup. Not sure as to why President Ibrahim Babangida was wearing a Black colored sun eyeglasses on that same day in the evening? Maybe be he had cried a lot earlier that day. Peace...
@@novellprice132 You are making me nostalgic, the way you're telling the story with vivid recollection has made me remember events of those days, Babangida looked shaken no doubt, I remember the marshal music, I remember the Abacha broadcast, it was airing on the radio repeatedly. Other events of the year like the world cup in Italy, the performance of Rodger Miller of Cameroon, the trending music of those days. Time really flies.
@@hassanal-mustapha1321Agreed 💯 percent. I am sure you do remember famous World wide African American singer MC Hammer classic hit single song entitled, "You can't touch this", with his baggy trouser dress attire in the music 🎵🎶 video of his same hit music single song back in those days. Peace...🕊️
@@novellprice132 Yes I do remember MC Hammer, Bobby Brown, Billy Ocean etc. Also our local artists like Onweka onweanu, Raskimono, Majec Fashek, Oriz williky etc. Also programs on NTA network like Behind the clouds, Seseme street, magana jari ce,. Cartoons like G force, Voltron, Bird man, Super Ted.
@@ZeinwatchAswe down! But to be fair to IBB, he promoted Abacha to a full General, an unprecedented move in a military regime! Plus he admitted that he knew Abacha will sack Shonekan's govt, or in football terms, IBB laid Abacha the 'suru' (through pass) to become head of state.
If Ogar was successful, Nigeria would have been better. Removing the 5 states that have dragged Nigeria backward was a noble idea, sadly, he could not succeed. Datzall
