Thieves abound in the corridors of power in Nigeria, its just that the good thieves don't get exposed, they pay for the silence and the eyes to look away. Diezani is a case of a jjc who stepped on the wrong toes and they worked with a powerful opposition govt to expose and present a narrative. At 14:51, I spotted Ibrahim Magu (former EFCC Chairman), he was also ousted on corruption charges. So who's fooling who? The project called Nigeria was founded as a business venture of the British government and remains a business venture transferred to the political class at the time of independence. Most of your ministers and lawmakers regardless of administration are children and proteges of former heads of state who looted Nigeria's wealth. A few outsiders have tried to join the league. If you become too flamboyant, badmouth a senior leaguer or position yourself as the lowest hanging fruit, you run the risk of taking the fall for the team. Lawmakers investigating Diezani for moving over 1billion Naira into a private account without following due process is laughable. The public only caught wind of it because she did not "settle" the powers that be. She also had the audacity to do it because her principal was in the know. That was her ticket out of trouble. So again one must ask - who's fooling who? All that nonsense about the CIA investigating corruption in Africa is also comedy material. Question: who investigates the CIA for well documented illegal regime changes and meddling in the democratic process in many parts of the world?

Wow!!! While millions of people suffer and die daily, the leaders who should provide the basic amenities to safeguard these lives were busy gathering enormous wealth they actually do not need. We need to educate our people more and embolden our children to ask questions and shout out in the face of injustice as people perish from a lack of knowledge. We are getting there by God’s grace as can be seen in what you are doing Jude. Keep educating us and hopefully we can raise better and knowledgeable leaders really soon. Look at it this way, everyday people suffer due to preventable hardships their life expectancy rates drops significantly because of exposure to all sorts … it not necessarily the day of death that is recorded that people died.. E.g we have people with all sorts of illness struggling to survive with no adequate healthcare facilities to cater for them, the same people who from exposure of poor housing and sanitation became ill. E.g Tuberculosis etc
