They all look stunning! They should definitely sell. Trust me, if I was in your area, most of my home would be decorated with your items!! I'd be broke, but my home would look fabulous!
Don’t ever worry about your signature. Art and artists are always changing. And believe me what you and Chris do is an art. I would buy any of these pieces! Thanks Yvonne
Yvonne and Chris…you’ve done it again! Nice choices of finishes/decor on all three pieces! A Happy and Blessed New Year to you, Chris and all your loved ones!
Oh my goodness! They are beautiful! When Chris had his little slip, my first thought was, "wow, he appreciates the look and the skill it took to do the transfer." When he said i guess you can cut that out and you laughed, i had to go back to hear what he said! And then i was laughing with you! Its okay Chris!
All wonderful. The mini-island cleaned up beautifully. Love the transfer on the first piece. The transfer on the tea cart is sweet. Great job, you guys!
These 3 pieces are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!! Based on pure uniqueness, the tea cart is my favorite! I think I’m on the hunt for one now!!!! Happy New Year Chris and Yvonne
WOW -Close to a used Pennsylvania House Cherry Wood Drop Leaf Rolling Tea Cart Server with Drawer $725 listed on 1st Dibs. I love your channel, but I hate that I don't live close. I would buy almost anything you touch. They were all beautiful.
I love, love, love all three pieces. They will sell really fast. My husband is making cutting boards out of Walnut, Ash a sometimes a little Cedar. He puts mineral oil on them to season them. Is their a cutting board oil we need to put on them.❤️❤️❤️
It says so much about you and your work ethic that you both go into great detail cleaning, prepping etc with every piece you transform. I love your wonderful enthusiasm. It’s contagious! Thank you!
I’m so happy you did a cart as I have one. I had to add wheels and turned wood as someone had cut off bottom part of front legs. I love the transfer on top. I will buy ones. Great program!!! Just love you all. Praying for your continued success!!!
OH MY GOSH !!!! You two are amazing with what you can do ! You know I’m drooling on my IPad over the cabinet and that paper ❤️ THEN… I can’t believe how you did the transfer and how INCREDIBLE that came out ! Oh wait… not finished… that rolling cutting block… WOW! The black and wood tones… No joke “Be still my heart”…. I was thinking that with every piece ! How great to hear that people are loving the black with the paper pieces and requesting them !!! I knew you hit on something fabulous… they are gorgeous! GREAT GREAT WORK you two !!!! Hugs to you! ❄️❄️❄️💙💙💙❄️❄️❄️
The decoupage paper looked like it was made for that little cabinet! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! Tea carts can be a bear to paint. I did one once and added a design on the drop sides. Never painting one again, mostly because of the wheels. The cutting board table looks so much nicer now! I know it can be quite a job to get water damage out of wood. I made over a Henredon coffee table that had water marks and the Finish had heaved up and looked awful. It took a lot of sanding, but I must have done a pretty good job for my husband to decide that we needed to keep it for ourselves when I was done.
Oh.. yes.. so many pieces and parts of the tea cart. Glad it was in incredible shape. It sold the same day it went in the booth.. happy day. Yes, sometimes things aren’t an way transformation at all. But the work makes on love it even more🤍
You and Chris are such imaginative couple and your brand is more than any color so don't worry to branch out into other colors that inspire you or any other ideas you have no matter what y'all have that art brewing in you so please always know we appreciate all you share with us.
I was lucky enough to to find one of the bar carts as well. Mine has a tray and even a pull out drawer. I am still thinking I may paint mine. I haven’t quite decided yet but I love the idea of adding words on top. All these came out nice!
These three pieces are beautiful! The black and natural wood is so cool! I love your step by step directions and your thoroughness! These pieces won’t be on your booth for long! Thank you! 😍💚❤️
Oh me oh my oh!! I am in loving with the chopping block!! I mean seriously if I can, I am coming to get it. We want to visit a friend who lives up there in your area, this is the perfect time to go for a visit. I will PM you for more details. The transformation is just stunning. And, it is the absolute perfect piece for my tiny kitchen and what I have been looking for. The others are also gorgeous! And anyone who has watched your channel at all, know these pieces are quality pieces. I love them all, but that butcher's block speaks to my heart! xx Oh, I got so excited I almost forgot, Happy New Year to you, Chris and the family. I pray God continues to abundantly bless y'all!! xx
Great job!!! They all turned out beautiful. I like the wood and black. Great combo. Especially like the wood on the kitchen "cart". Great projects. Thanks.
boy hidey, i wish we lived near one another. for i just love the little cabinet you work on in this video! are you calling it a storage unit? oooo, no, honee, it is just a wee little, and very old, little cabinet. or could have been a side table for a bedroom. the back side of it has boards that are put together exactly like furniture that my daddy had from the 1930 - 1940 era. i love it. i love the words i saw you using while the video was playing, 52 B, FLEXIBLE TROLLEY. i was rudely interrupted during the video! my spouse! the cabinet was probably made during the era when houses did not have cabinets or had little storage places. i am way older than you! i see many items that you get that are from way, way back b/c my family was older and i saw these items in my granny's house. you are the smartest and most talented young lady i know! i'd give anything to do exactly what you are doing! and, i agree, you were blessed. you are still being blessed! i watch your videos every day and get oodles of inspiration from the things you do! i love it!!!!!
I love watching you because you don’t have a signature style. You’re not afraid to try any and everything!!! Just keep doing what the two of you are doing….please😁🥰
I have to ask because I am a music buff. Is your song at the beginning of " When Sonny comes home"? Great job again. Love love your work. Everything is soo fantastic.
I have to say you and your husband are amazing. I love everything you refinish and renew and my style home is traditional. I love it all. But to change to farm house where we are on Long Island isn't practical. Beautiful pieces. Take care and be safe.
Love what you did to all 3 pieces. Have you ever tried Our Upcycled Life's reverse transfer method? Works like a charm. She has lots of videos explaining details. Happy New Year!
You guys did an excellent job on all three pieces. I think the third piece is my favorite. I have a tea cart almost identical to yours and I’ve been trying to decide what to do with it. Thanks foe the inspiration.
I painted a tea cart once, kept and used it when it wouldn't sell. Then one day a buyer was looking at a hitch I had for sale in my studio and fell in love with the tea cart! I gave it to her for $25 just to move it!
I am in Canada and can't seem to find a supplier that will ship to Canada and no suppliers that I can find in our country. Disappointing, so I am going to try to print my own. Your items look fabulous.
I watch you take off price tags with a heat gun. Is it possible to remove contact paper with one? I love what you do. It helps our society By that stuff not ending up in a landfill
Love the black and wood effect, turned out beautiful. Have trouble getting the decoupage paper in Australia however determined to recreate this look. You guys never disappoint 😊
In this situation I have to try and help. Look up tea staining paper. Then find a graphic you like be it typewriter font or what not and print your beautiful spirit out. Would love to see your results!🥰🤩
Everything turned out great. I used to have an antique booth and tea carts are a tough sell. Everyone seems to love them but it takes a certain amount of space to store one. So I’m interested to see how quickly it sells, but What a neat technique you did on it. I have never seen that done. And I thought I had seen everything! Lol just did a fantastic job.
Nicely done! I appreciate your attitude and treatment of the “unseen” areas when doing furniture. It’s a pet peeve of mine when people don’t give the hidden parts any respect.
Oh, that cabinet…..GASP! Oh, that butcher block table……GASP! Those are GORGEOUS! You guys have outdone yourselves! Oh, and tell Chris that “I feel you, man. Sometimes there are no better words to express yourself!”. Y’all make such a great team and create such beautiful pieces together. ~ Linda
I adore your genius minds!!! I have this exact tea cart. My very first all the way from Oregon to Utah and now Colorado. I have stripped it and painting a beautiful soft yellow with a light blended creamy white. THEN , sunflower transfers 💗😍🥰💗🥳!! Can you say Weee Hawww?!
The tea cart….fantastic! Great job on all three. I painted a chest this weekend, and I thought “This is NOT how Ginger Chick would’ve done it!” LOL. I’m learning. Thanks for all of your inspiring and informative videos!
Yvonne, I so enjoyed these three brilliant makeovers! The cutting board piece is particularly beautiful. And BTW, I like some of the different music you've introduced, like that Indian-raga sounding one. Happy new year!
What a great job you all did! Chris is amazing at knowing just what to do. And asking for your help when needed. Lol 😆 But Really they all three are stunning 😍., I think the tea cart is my favorite 😍. I love that paper and you for such a great job of getting it on perfectly. God bless you both!
I love them all. I follow other crafters but their areas dictate more white and chippy farm style! Which is not us. We are are i think urban ranch. A modern look but ironically our better quality 70s and 80s furniture seems in style now. When i met my partner though i super cleaned his and know how to make the wood look nice with Howard's products. Restore for poly finish and Feed n Wax for just stained wood. We are also going to get a laser printer. Wanted color but reviews of some black only seem a better choice. We had the recent totally plugging up and ink everywhere of our latest ink jet. So black only will cut price down about $200 on a laser jet. In saying that Ive watched a lot of transfer techniques. Our upcycled life does it well. She modge podges reverse printed papers, waits 48 hours then wet rubs off the paper. I dont have access having retired super rural, nor the extra money for stamps and other things so graphics fairy will be my new best friend and original designs too. I also like you show a lot of detail in your upcycles. I'm a 56 year sewist so learning the small furniture and crafts now.
