I’m glad it brought back memories 👍 This vid is quite old, we revisited Gobowen this year and the hut was still standing ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f1jpQXrrKkE.htmlsi=g4Ove_bg6bI67QYt
Very informative video 👍. Every time I walked past this shack I was always curious of its history. Right now I’m a college student and one of our assignments is to make a short little documentary on local history etc and I was thinking I might make one about this shack. I’m currently in the research stage so if you or anyone else has any extra info I would extremely appreciative. Have a good day 👋
Thank you! Your project sounds interesting and I’d love to see it, if you decide to make it. tho I haven’t really got any new information on the place other than what I read on the comments here. I revisited Gobowen this year and had a look round the Snack Shack here’s the vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f1jpQXrrKkE.htmlsi=BL7u4iLcKH0oRxEg
@@thirdratecontent585Thanks! I’d love to share it. These vids of yours are going to be very helpful in making the documentary. Interestingly when I asked my mum about it, she claimed it used to be a hairdressers at one point. (Though I might have to double check that I’m not sure). I’ll give further up updates on the project if you want any. Have a good evening
@@immunity0792 I’d really love to see it, so please keep me updated (right here). I could see your Mum being right as the parking would’ve been good there. 👍
The Shack has been there for a number of years,I can remember walking to it from the top of the Rhewl bank in the mid to late 1960s....Great shame, it was an Iconic site...
Yes, more confectionary ice creams milk, just convenience food, the lay-by in the morning was full of HGVs because that’s the old A5 it’s on, before the bypass was built, that’s in the late 60s early to mid 70s..
