It's cool that someone would put so much effort into restoring a place like that. I was in Mexico City years ago and there was a Church that was built, probably in the early 1800's, and was sinking on one side. The place was huge. They hung a pendulum and showed the progress of lifting it. Always look forward to you videos, thanks for posting.
Not sure when it closed. The owner did mention something about taking apart some of the building but trying to keep most of it intact. Sounds like quite the challenge. I don't believe he has plans to demolish completely. While I was there it appeared they were already preparing to repair the second floor.

Not sure if you're ever up around the CT area, but if you are, there's an old drug rehab/mental hospital right near my business that's abandoned. There's probably somewhere in the vicinity of 10 or so buildings there. It's an older institution so the buildings have some age to them. I'd go myself and send you the files, but you have a way of filming that it should be done by you. I can tell you that it would be one of the best places you've visited. Let me know if you'd like the address.
What was with the bricks? Was it settling THAT bad? How would that ever be fixed and have no evidence? Who ever is financing all this must have DEEP pockets.
If you're into Military history, Look up SJOD in google. Its in an industrial area now and I haven't been there in 3 years but last I was there, It was incredible.

Must of gotten on a tax foreclosure. Only thing I can think of that would be cheap enough. Or, Its one of those "Home Vestor" type deals. A.K.A. cause of housing crumble. Tearing out some of the foundation is extremely risky though. Could cause more damage than what is already there. Who knows. Just really wish I had the cash to do something like that. Having a hard enough time rebuilding my own house. Great work though. I have some places in Houston if you make it this far south one day.
