Believe it or not that little windup crawling doll literally brought me to tears. My grandmother had one at her home when I was a small child. My 2 older sisters use to fight over it. I new that if i just sat back and watched them, my grandmother would take it away from them and give it to me to play with. One of my favorite memories. Thank you! Those are kewpie dolls.
I remember those baby dolls when I was a kid. Those baby dolls bring back memories also. My mom used to make different clothes out of yarn for my baby dolls.
That was have nothing to do with Hospital trays. You take the top platter and put it in the oven and heat it up and after your steak is cooked you put the steak on the prey that was in the oven and you place it in the holder. So while you eat your steak stays warm. It looks like you have a set of 6 or 8 they are back in the 70s and 80s. I really like mine
You opened the box of dolls and asked what it was. I'm sitting here whisper screaming, (as everyone is sleeping), those are kewpie dolls. They are worth lots. I love kewpie dolls. 😊
I used to have one of those crawling babies when I was little.....at that time (years ago!), dolls didn't do much more than open and close their eyes. This was really cool since it moved.
I kept laughing at the things you two said and everytime I watch this I still laugh (3 times now). My son is in his 40's and had his older sisters blocks, he loved them and spent ages playing with them. My daughter had a kewpi doll that had belonged to one of my sisters and I loved the crawling baby doll. The boxes in this unit contain some lovely items that bring happy memories to mind, that alone is a priceless gift, thank you for the comedy and the memories Jeremy and George George, take care and good luck Mary-Ellen UK
85% of your box of cassettes, I used to listen to all the time growing up. Wilson Phillips, M.C. Hammer, were just two of my favorite artists. I feel like all the "blank" cassettes, probably had someone's favorite radio hits on them. Heck they might bring you two back to a period in your life that you might want to relive.
Yes, That appears to be the Star Wars 1980 40 card cello pack..prices range $5-20 per pack. Love seeing the older sports cards even though the value has dropped so much on them. Glad they kept them in the boxes.
Those cupie dolls actually have some value I believe. Some of the copper pieces have some age and more importance than the brass pieces. Great finds in here along with the garbage. Nice to meet George’s Brother, he actually managed to rock that umbrella hat better than anyone else I’ve seen try. The lathe turned goblet is a really fine piece, it is actually thinner than most try to do it, and no cracking. Cheers, and as for Raiders...Hale$ yes.🖤🇨🇦
26:40 love the vintage Kewpie or called Cupi Box they are not cheap and the crawling baby prob. Made in Japan 1950s 50s , sometimes in Celluloid .... really love those Vintage and Antique Toys . What a find
BIG Buttons 🤣 Bald spot hat 🤣 Baseball- ok, now we’re talking! Individually bagged figures and tchotchkes- oh yeah! Sealed cassette tapes- who knew? George is even handsome wearing an umbrella 😂 Loved the Bunny lamp. That farm was growing kewpie doll babies! Crawling baby reminded me of Exorcist movie. Another great video!!!
Hi what the Hales! The can openers/bottle openers with the red tips are from the late 50’s early 60’s....Can’t wait until AA starts this evening! I really enjoy what the hell, George, Jeremy, and George George! I’m tuning in to your videos George George and they are awesome!
The silver bowl thing with wood handles is a gravy bowl, It is attached to a tray with handles and the part on the bottom is a drip tray so the gravy drips on that and ton on your table cloth. I have one and still use it. The number it is located at is 502.
Those are steak plates. You put the metal parts on the burners of the stove to heat them. When the steak is Almost done, put the metal parts in the plastic holders, then put the steak on the superheated plates and the steak sizzles and finishes the cooking on the way to the table. The metal plates help the steak stay hot. Works for fish as well. Those are NOT creepy babies! Those are Kewpie Dolls!! Porcelain is a high price, a very high price. Cellophane is still really good. Vinyl or plastic is worth some coins, not to be cast off casually. But that wind up could be the real deal of the day!! Aunt B
That metal pot is actually a spittoon. Those were on the floors of about every saloon in America in the 1800s, probably clear up to some time in the 1900s. Many of the clientele chewed in those days, so they needed a designated place to spit their "chaw". Ick. It made it easier on the custodian after closing time.
The Cupie dolls are worth money and the crawling baby is also worth $$$$ My mom had one of those and she is now almost 70yrs old. I now have the doll. I also have some of her Cupie dolls. I would definitely look into prices on them.
Jerimie, I think that chalice is from Africa, it's carved and polished by hand, out of one piece of wood, that has those different colors. I forgot the name of the tree it comes from, but I bet if you research it, you'd find it.
God bless you and your family and another great video and great unit to love what you got there keep them great videos coming and I send you and your love ones lots of blessings always and sorry for the late comment I was trying to help other channels and I got backed up on videos Lol so I’m trying to catch up 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The leaf trays you called hospital trays are steak plates. You place the metal tray in the oven the after steaks are done you pull out the plate and put the steak on it then place in tray. Keeps the steak warm longer and when it comes to you and it sizzles makes your taste buds go wild. Lol. Love💜
So far this series of videos has been a great stress reliever for me🤪Can’t wait to get home from work to watch 😁 You guys have been so funny 😂 Thank you for the laughs❤️❤️
Jeremy this video was so funny especially with the dolls and the 80s toys and I love the fact that you and George George together play off each other and are so funny I miss George
AMAZING!!! i also scored in a unit 13 years old basically 1 day or 2 after you guys got this one, i have a video, mine is not as good but it is really good!
Those are Kewpie dolls and they've been around since before I was born! And I'm not going to tell you how old I am! 🤣 I would Definitely research them and see what the value is , they are probably antique some of them! I had that crawling baby back when I was a child back in the early seventies! It was hugely popular then, but I don't remember it being that creepy...
Kewpie doll 50s,I believe Mattell, but not POSATIVE ..Very collectable..My Mom and Aunt used these dolls, that came in many sizes and variety ,also just the head they knitted and crochet outfits on them. One doll had a long flowing dress to spread out on you bed..wow! This unit is taking me back to some of my toys and toys I purchased for my baby brother and he passed them on to my children,(like the Castle grey skull action figure, that you found earlier81-82 very collective ...love and light Lori PGH PA.. GEORGE GEORGE..YOU LOOK LIKE MINI PREAL IN THAT UMBRELLA HAT( WITH THE TAG HANGING OFF THE SIDE)..MINI PREAL WAS A SINGER ACTRESS FROM THE 50-60S. OFTEN ON THE TV SHOW..HEE HAW..
