Make sure whenever you detail a dirty car that you throw all cloths and everything away as the mold spores are embedded into the fibers potentially contaminating the next car you work on. I don’t know if James said it or not better be safe than sorry.
XD my mother, oh dont get me started, one time we had to clean a house that was 16 years old, NO USE so when we did finish it we lived there, of couse i got the room with ants, thats why i cant have ANY food in there
The seats come out without having to unbolt any screws, it's extremely easy to do and it made sense to do it to get to those hard to reach spots under the seat
Has he responded to anyone's question why he didn't remove the seats ? He always removes the seat. A car that disgusting must have dirt ,mold and critters under the seats.
It was hard to film the angle but I lucked out with 80% of under the seat. since it is just a 2 door the seats have an insane amount of height adjustment up/down and fwd/back for small/tall people and rear passengers. When using the extractor there were only a small part of the sides by the armrests I couldn't reach easily. I typically do remove the seats but this time I chose not to because of the movement the seat could do... my back was happy about it too lol
@@StaufferGarage Even then, after finding all that mold the seats and entire interior need to be torn out and reupholstered. Black mold can kill, although I'm sure you know that. You've done an amazing job, but I still wouldn't personally risk selling or driving that car.
I WISH you dismantled some of the interiors. Theres so much more you'd find. I guarantee theres mold inside the door panels, in the trunk, and under the seats.
Came here to say this. Those seats need to be torn down and reupholstered, and the whole thing needs to be totally torn apart. Black mold can kill, and who knows what wiring or tubing could have been chewed through while it was sitting.
And those rust stains in the carpet... This is a convertible. Top left open or top leaks means water pooling on floors. I wonder what it looks like under the carpeting?
I wish you would remove seats in every video. My favorite part. I also like to listen to the ways you describe the funky stuff. “Fart Water” is on top of the list - said during mini van cleaning.
Also note that removing the spare Tyre and cleaning underneath it would be a great thing because mold grows in dark humid places and that is a great spot for it to grow
If I am being 100% honest I would like to see more with the carpet cleaner and all in a straight line please I just think it’s so satisfying. I love your videos so much.
Exactly, I may hope that if this car has airco.. (by the looks of it not but I'm not sure.. or it are the buttons of the windows ) that such a system is cleaned even more thorough, blegh..
I recommend spraying the car down with bug spray (specifically in the nooks and crannies), as the ants will most likely make an attempt to return back (speaking with previous experience).
This is Jamaican young RU-vidr you have some amazing content start watching you a couple weeks ago by watching you I start my own business you're doing a good job keep it up I have to watch one of your video Everyday to boost my confidence you are my teacher thank you
Dude omg that car is gross. Good job but idk. I know ants like to get in nooks and crannies so I'd be paranoid that they're behind the door panels and such too....
Just put some ant bait in the glove box (as its nearest to the air filter which is likely where they are entering) and they will take it and kill the queen
They are pieces of junk. I have one, they fly through automatic transmissions, they are electrical nightmares, and the engines have poorly designed piston rings. And unlike some cars, they are ridiculously expensive to repair. Mine has sat for several years throughout it's life because of this.
@@dnikolaaa There's nothing expensive or luxurious about that car, and yes automatics are more common in the US, but even then, there's no excuse for building shitty ass cars.
I am wondering if this guy even details for a living. The same videos are repeated over and over. No doubt he puts an add does the job for probably free to make money on RU-vid. Not a bad way to make extra money. But this really isn’t detailing its cleaning.
barry cook I don’t think he’s a commercial detailer, I think he’s mentioned in other videos he is more of a hobbyist detailer, rather than a pro. I’ve gotta say though, this is worth the name “detailing” given the immense rejuvenation it went through!
As an avid person who likes to keep all my cars clean in/out, much respect awesome job. Have learnt lots by watching your vids, gonna buy me a drill brush and a Lilly bush. x Look forward to seeing more detail transformation soon. All the best Happy New year to you and all your family. x
"And just like all my other videos, any of the products used are linked in the description box below.." immediately scrolls down to look for that vacuum. I NEED THAT IN MY LIFE.
Been waiting on this. Luv your videos. You should keep an empty 5 gallon water bottle in your garage and keep allllll the change u find and collect it till it fills up. Write the date u started collecting it on the bottle with a sharpie. Let us see how much u collected over time. Once again great job Sir!
Ahmed Shehatah He said in response to a different comment that the seats moved around a lot and were super easy to clean under by simply adjusting them
It looks like the rails were pretty rusted and he didn’t want to damage them further. Besides they move really far forward. I’m sure he got 99% of everything.
I can’t believe how satisfying these videos are. And not just any car cleaning videos...YOUR car cleaning videos! I’m addicted!! New favorite channel. 🙌🏼
Ejj can i give you an Idea why dont you place a start-stopwatch so you can show us how much time you spend in cleaning also we know the effort you put which is very big Big fan 🤗🤗🤗Iwill see next video if you liked my idea 😉
@@PWGvideos are you insane ? We are referring to the VW correct ? You don't think that there might of been some critters, dirt or even some amount of mold !?. Cmom dude , really?
I luckily only had to detail one car that I bought from someone. Other times they clean it for me or it’s not bad. When I got my 2015 Fiesta in 2017 they sent it out to be detailed as soon as they got it in.
@@justfunny2616 Chill dude. Jesus Christ you are on edge. Why do you feel the need to tell every person to shut up for absolutely no reason. And if you respond to me, choose something that ventures away from comments such as "stfu" :)
I really hope the owners of each vehicle you clean, respects the time and work you put into this. And keep up with maintenance and organization. I'm in awe. I've binged watched your channel in the last 2 days. Now I'm watching your wife's channel. Next, your family channel. 🥰 keep it up. This is really therapeutic!
One thing I’ve used for mold on carpets is fabric softener, for some reason it digs deeper into the carpeting and when i extract it. It looks near mint.
A 50/50 mix of vinegar and water is really good for getting mold and other nasty stuff off without ruining the material. Great video, I’ve been waiting for it and I loved it. Keep up the good work boss
20 minutes to remove the seats and 10 minutes to remove the carpets!! So yea why weren’t they removed 🤷🏼♂️ Probably an ant colony beneath the rear seats 🤢🤮
Does those nasty molt stay away with vinegar? Would be interesting to know if it's coming back because it may sits too deep inside the seats... Unbeliveble detail cleaning.... BTW, pretty brave to sit on the seats before you cleaned them :D
God bless you Man,... Because u take so much time and effort to clean these kind of cars . Owners of the car should take responsibility hence forth atleast to keep them clean and well maintained, next time for molds try using some strong sanitizer soaps which will kill the molds and stop the reproduction and spreading. TC and thank for the video Hemanth from India
I don't usually comment on videos but seeing your videos and process and enthusiasm has given me guidance and hope of cleaning my boyfriends supra (idk how it's spelled lol) but it's been sitting in a barn for YEARS I hope I can make you proud when we get it up and out and cleaned!
Great to see you taking on this golf. A lot of car details on YT of daily drivers, which are cool but I think personally videos like this showcasing your talent and how you go through all the stages. You make it look easy.great video again thanks
Here in Victoria tx I do the same. It takes alot of pride. I'll take the interiors fully apart. I'll disassemble the seats, take the fabric off the cushion and throw it in the wash. Take off the door panels and clean inside the doors and everything. I truly love it
