I saw this building and had to pull over! This former bowling alley/ buffet restaurant has an amazing old school look to it.

The first building looked cool and I liked your idea of reopening it up as a arcade place.

That is stunning. It would be perfect for the 80s experience that I wanted to open. 80s cafe, arcade and roller rink all in one building.

That would be a lot of fun

@@RayOutThere I had it all sketched out, Ray. I even was gonna have a mockup blockbuster video in there. I was gonna fill the place full of 80s memorabilia and such like. Sadly I never took it further. 😪😂

I used to go to this Chinese buffet, it was a very nice place. Just above the wallpaper store on the hill was a Sears that probably closed about ten years ago. There’s soooo much stuff to film around Allegheny and Westmoreland county. I really wish I started filming when I lived there, the little pocket neighborhoods and run down towns are fascinating. Thanks for posting Ray!

Wallpaper was the decor for many many years, especially in western PA. Also, people in Pittsburgh and western pa commonly “wiped their walls down” during the year. I never heard of that growing up in NJ, but I assume people in this area around the steel mills had to wipe the walls down due to all the impurities floating in the air.

Amazingly, its website is still up, though there's no way to tell how long ago it was last updated. It looks like the building has been abandoned for several years at least.

This is a wild find. I can absolutely see that as a bowling alley in the past. So 80s. I love it. I agree that would make a perfect music venue. You know what’s so sad? When music venues become clothing stores. 😡 I see it so much in Manhattan. Then you look up and see the ghost of the name of what was above a Gucci store.
@RayOutThere

So sad to see. It seems like all the fun places to go are disappearing.
