It's a shame that American citizens are living in squalor while people wh broke our laws to get into the country are living in 5 star hotels, being given a thousand dollars a moth to buy food because those meals at $11.00 each, 3x a day isn't good enough. Free clothes, free schooling, free healthcare including taking money and resourses from the VA and throwing out existing homeless Americans from shelters and elderly from convalescent homes to house them.
Normal (non-racist) people don't even think about immigrants (legal or otherwise) when they think about homeless people. These are two completely unrelated issues.

Haviland was an established prison architect at the time who was most notable for Eastern State Penitentiary, among other prison designs that emphasized prisoner reform over brutal punishment.
I dont know how you can walk these places with home less people being there, crack heads etc. Its a scary looking place and often wonder you may come across someone deceased. Its a real problem with so many home less people these days and am sorry for them trying live like that in places like shown.
@@RobsNeighbor I highly doubt it (that he's carrying). And homeless people aren't inherently dangerous. Probably safer than walking at night a few blocks off the main drag in most cities.

I went thru a really bad time financially and was homeless for about 2 years. even tho I lived in the woods in a tent I made sure I showered daily and wore clean clothes. I was a female living alone and I never once worried about being attacked by another homeless person. everyone pretty much just wanted to exist peacefully. it was only non homeless people that ever tried to assault/ r*pe me. pretty messed up
As a kid growing up in rural UK boarding school we used to illegally visit all kinds of abandoned factories and ancient churches, war shelters and generally amazing untouched abandoned places... This was predigital and pre smartphone camera as well as pre-internet... we used to regularly take hard hats with us and put them on when we were invariably caught... we would usually get off scott free because we would say we were trying to be safe and not cause damage... on occasion however we were taken back to school in a police car😮 It was the day of the school photo and I remember every time I look at that picture I think the trouble I knew I was in.
In Pennsylvania, all county-holding facilities are now identified as "Prisons" because inmates sentenced to anything under 5 years can be served in a county "Jail"
Love your videos Chris! If you’re ever in Georgia you should check out Camp Anneewakee in Rockmart Ga. It was a huge children’s camp that was a big scandal for child abuse and sa. It’s been abandoned for years but it’s a huge place out in the middle of nowhere with lots of exploring and some interesting cruel history!

He would be confined to it 22-23 hours per day. All that for publishing true accounts.
Imagine "living" there and then the horrible creepy nights there with all the sounds of dripping water or the noises of the creaking building. Horrible...
Honestly, with the amount of structures in the USA in this condition, I'm surprised counties/states don't offer the land for free to anyone who can prove they have funds to demolish the old buildings, then hold them under contract to do so or the land goes to the next applicant. Nobody wants to buy land AND have to demo... But free land if you demo? Maybe we'd have less disgusting wastes of land.
Tear it down not like people have never seen a prison before! some things are not worth preserving tore down the original penn station but people want this piece of junk to stiil be here makes no sense at all. use the eminent domain and get rid of it put up a historical marker will do the trick and satisfy those who want to see this eye sore kept
Been done by 2 urban 3xplorers years ago Newark nj....im from there Malcolm x waS filmed there in 1991 The jail that replaced it was closed in late 2000s They are on the 3rd jail No homeless living ther either
