Man, I remember back in 2017/2018ish when I first read this creepypasta. Easily one of the best I've ever seen. It combines nostalgia, the fear of the supernatural, body horror, abandonment and simple yet beautifully crafted anxiety. "Abandoned by God" was also a nice addition. I think that it was also in the original creepypasta.

Dude what the heck I haven’t heard of this story for years. Like back in 2013 or 14 a guy on Reddit (I think I could be wrong) went to go visit an island that Disney owned but they abandoned (don’t remember why) he was walking around the place and saw this weird old mascot of Mikey Mouse get up and said “do you wanna see my head come off?” Then he ran away and never went back. Thanks for bringing back old memories :)

Could’ve been longer and I recall the Baloo statue was a lot more decayed looking, also the old meat locker with the hooks was missing, but aside from that, one of the better recreations of this story if you ask me.
