Specialy dedicated to Kat 399, for advising me this beautiful music, thanks!! A beautiful abandoned chateau, with nice architecture and egyptian wall painting inside. Credits for the music: Christopher Saint - Haunted boy soundtrack.
Orteca- you are quite simply the MASTER in all that you do with these abandoned places. No one has your eye nor does it better. Thanks for ALL the BEAUTY!
I LOVE YOUR SHOOTING STYLE! IT HAS STYLE!! NOT JUST WALK, SHAKE, POINT SWIFT PAN, WALK SOME MORE, SHAKE... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! FINALLY A VIDEO WORTH WATCHING! A little background to my comments, I have been watching abandoned videos for about 2 hours now, and your video here has given me home that someone with more than a cellphone and more than 10 minutes of training has actually fulfilled my wishes to see something interesting. LOVED THE STILL SHOTS! They did alot to fill in my mental map of the building. Very nicely done! Just remember, peoples brains are absorbing the details, so keep it nice and slow.
This is one of the most beautiful abandoned homes ive seen. Thank you for this upload. What a shame people lose their money and have no way to save a beauty like this one.
It's absolutely amazing that this place is in the beautifully intact condition it's in, and that squatters have not moved in, and that it hasn't been stripped-down, looted and ravished, no graffiti or anything There must be an onsite caretaker or someone looking after the place...Lovely!
I like watching videos of this nature ... But I love yours !! Well done and sad at the same time . It's a shame homes that once were are no longer . This is true beauty . Thank you for sharing . I hope someone bought this it brought back it's true beauty .
I love this place which was probably a country get-a-way for the wealthy. I especially enjoy the music in the background and the Egyptian pictures on the wall. If only I could get to see this in person but I'm not close. So thanks 2 Orteca you film beautifully.
i could imagine living in this place and, having guest of great distinction drop by to visit. each one bringing me a gift from far away places. gems, gold and myrrh....... , i mean maryjane !
You totally captured the beauty of this place and your choice of music was perfect, thank you so much for sharing and i look forward to seeing more of your video's :D
What a beautyfull house...with all the original fireplaces ect...i am so glad the vandel,s have not been there to spoil things.if it was england i am afraid it would be destroyed by now.i hope someone sensitive buys it and restores it to its former beauty...great vidio....thankyou for sharing.
Great job!! Love the video and the music is perfect for it! It's sad that this place is left to rot 'cause it's so beautiful inside! I hope it'll be preserved soon! Thanks!
Amazing and beautiful! I always admire intricate and unique architecture! So sad that it's abandoned. Love your vids, Orteca! Keep up the great work! :)
Your videos make me want to go exploring with you just as much as I wish for the finances to be able to restore and maintain all of them. You do great work!
Absolutely stunning and masterful and wonderful music. Will be visiting the UK soon and would love to also visit the Chateau. When seeing the places it makes one wonder why they do not at least keep the roofs and windows repaired. It would make such a difference in these beautiful places.
hey wait a second it's in temse!! a village in belgium nearby where i live!!! :D nice man! the castle is recently back renovated and someone lives there now :) when you are there, you should check out the old alpine style mansion, it's also abandoned!
orteca but watch out, maybe im going to sound a little bit creepy haha but that mansion once was a dentist office, and when i went to that mansion, there was blood all over the room and i was really affraid, but i got in again after a few days to watch if there was happened something, luckely there wasnt! but it makes that house a little bit more mysterious and even more creepy
Please put up a picture of the outside now that it's been restored. I wouldn't think you would be allowed inside but it would be wonderful just to see you post a now picture. Thank you for a beautiful truly beautiful adventure. So glad I watched this again and saw where it's been restored 8)
Hello again! Absolutely beautiful! I have been so busy lately but I come here and get treated to this! I wish I could go with you in person, but I don't think I would enjoy it as much. As I would not be able to see it through your eyes. Bravo you are an artist!
the sad thing is is that so many people are homeless and houses are just standing left to rot. It's the ulitmate sin to humanity I think. I love your videos. I like looking into abandoned places too but that happens very rarely! the music is also nice!
It's like the Titanic sitting on the bottom of the ocean!! At one time it was glorious, but, now it's torn apart, destroyed and ruined!! It would take a lot of money to restore this Chateau to it's former glory!! I wonder why people just leave them to be left like this? I know...Money, but, really, couldn't they have sold it or leased it to an all girls/boys school or something like this? I guess taxes must be high!!
Imagine the gloria in the past, with all owners, employees, guests, walking on. Imagine the lights on. It should be really amazing. Where are those people? 7 hands below the ground....
It was built somewhere between 1818 and 1844 by Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, at that time King of Sweden. The architecture was inspired by the Château Bagatelle in the Bois de Boulogne (Paris). Huge modifications were made in the 1860s till 1880s, resulting in a symmetrical composition with an identical front and back.
an Egyptian room. most likely built in the 1920's. too bad no one took the time to take care, and love this home. i wish i had the opportunity to have it, and make it like the jewel it once was.
I love the beautiful Art Neuvue railings on the main staircase but the back staircase with the head on the end of the bannister was eerie to say the least. Egyptian hieroglyphics and stories upon the walls was a strange choice. Makes me wonder if the owner was not into some kind of dark practices But maybe just a fan of that era. The layout of the house was wonderful. I hate to see something so beautiful just go to ruin like this. Really tragic! nice Video. Thanks. I enjoyed it a lot!
So beautiful....lonely (yes, I think houses and buildings...especially houses can be lonely when they become left and empty). Be nice to know more about this place so as usual, I will be looking it up.
Beautiful place (quite a few are)it's a shame a place like this will sit derelict and crumble away & the property holders refuse to sell for anything but top dollar *on top of all the expensive restorations that would have to be done...so it sits.
Orteca you have a wonderful eye for beauty. Is this place still standing? Is there anything on why it is abandoned? What country is this in also. I don't think the States have anything like this. Thank you. Music fit the video.
