so glad your video got recognised, lets hope it all gets locked up safe and gets the renovation it deserves, well done Ian fantastic work ! good man! take care
Enjoyed this video Ian. Such a shame that this beautiful building is rotting away! hoping you're going to film your Scotland camping adventures! try to sneak some more abandon places, they're really interesting to see how they are after being left! all the best pal, x
Amazing mould in there. Such a real shame it's been left like this for so long X Hopefully someone will see your video and hear about the Church and Memorial and do something about saving at least some of it X Great Filming X Keep Safe X
What a shame to see such a local monument go to waste, many years ago i had attended Boys Brigade there, that was the first time i had seen inside since, it was in the hall at the side which you visited at the end of the video. Another waste of a great space in the town. Thanks for letting me revisit it tho :) p.s im sure that hall was bigger then :) :) :)
It's a system changing isn't it Macey? A time before technology when the state was the word. Wow what an organ - when it appeared it truly was an incredible sight. it must have sounded like God itself! Enjoyed the Sermon reverend Macey. Cool explore bro. Take care. Mark
Thank you Mark, The organ pipes are situated right in the middle of the nave working with the acoustic of the rough stone building unlike St. Peter’s in Kinver where very little thought has been given to the acoustic location in favour of saving space, I imagine the organ bass tones could be heard a long distance from the building in years gone by . Best regards Ian
Thank you for stopping by the channel and sharing your thoughts there is a sad atmosphere walking around St Aidan’s now I’m sure people have a lot of happy memories
What a cool place your churches are so much more beautiful than ours, good Explore. Oh man vandals really piss me off, tired of them busting places up for no reason. Lol you will have that piano sounding perfect in no time and sweet angle with you in the pulpit man, I did a semi similar speech from a church I Explored recently too. You should consider a collaboration with my friend Urbex Pajerico!!
I have some catching up to do on your videos. It is such a shame to see the beautiful workmanship of the old church going to waste. Please be careful of the molds while you are exploring...many of them can be harmful to your lungs. travel Safe.
Hiya Ann I’m sorry to have upset your good self, I thought after I highlighted the situation early in the year something would happen , nothing has happened things have gotten worse , more vandalism which is very bad for the health of the young people that visit the place in gangs smashing fluorescent tubes releasing toxic dust which would have covered there clothes and lungs , Abbotsford hotel is just as bad there’s a window smashed shards of glass covered in blood where someone has gashed themselves. I’m not expecting anything to improve when greed outweighs common sense . Thank you Ann and best wishes from me
Yes the council have boarded up window visible from the road/car park I imagine the rear has been blocked too, only took them 6 months , thanks for your thoughts man
Wow the church is really cool. Shame it gets damaged. Glad the war memorial was ok though. As you were walking through it felt like something from the walking dead 😂 😂
