Wow, there was once happy memories made there, holidays enjoyed, art to stare into, the views to bimble in and books to expand knowledge....such a shame.
The clothes still hanging in the wardrobes in the RV were partially upsetting, absolutely beautiful landscape x I life lived to the full I bet x the music I used was from a documentary called the library of dust, which is about a room in a state mental asylum in Oregon where there were 1000s of unclaimed cremains from the patients that used to live there forgotten in life and forgotten in death, it’s not a very good recording as it’s recorded from my cameras mic as I couldn’t find the original online x
Hi Macey hope your keeping well, Fiona's present looked nice. That's a sad looking cottage you have found, they obviously didn't have any family to leave it to.
Hiya Rob I’m not bad thanks for asking putting in a lot of miles on the cycle 🚲 I’ve spotted a few like this one out and about this place is so overgrown, wish I knew the story of why it’s become forgotten but I guess I’ll never know👍hope you’re well and see you soon.
@@XhristinaMacey I'm good thanks, there might be a way of finding out especially if you knew who lived there. If they died it might be in the obituary pages in the local newspaper or if you knew the address you might be able to do an address search online an see who also lived there as it could be on the electoral roll, this applies to all abandoned places. Happy hunting 😁
Hi Paul thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts it’s coming up to our one year anniversary we both love Traquair house and the beautiful craft shops, best wishes
That countryside is beautiful. All the wildflowers and multicoloured daisies. Sad the cottage. Like life interrupted. Do you know what happened? Ta for taking us along 🙏🏾
Thank you, Both Fio' and I love every moment we have outdoors. We are always pointing plants and features we see out to each other. But, no, I've no idea what happened to this poor chap. he must have had no family to organise things after his passing, so so sad. Xx
I hope Fiona liked her gift. If that was what you showed at the start I bet she loved it, it looked amazing X Such a shame that we will all end up like that, just 'Stuff and Memories' around us X Made me think of all the nicer times they must of had there X A Lovely place X
I think the same looking around these places, all the nicer times, particularly sad how the calendar just stopped in 2014, does make you realise change happens very fast and we need to accept that we have to let everything go one day as we return to the spirit world where we came from. yes its our one year anniversary and brought her something special, we both love Traquair and the craft shop xX best wishes to you and yours Jenni xXx
They must have been quite happy living in such a lovely landscape. Seemed they may have been preparing to move...then just left it all. Give my best to Fiona, and Travel Safe
Hi Lauren , no idea I trued researching but found nothing, my guess from experience is either something really bad happened there and the relatives want nothing more to do with the place, or he died and left no will and has no family. It’s very sad seeing it all decaying away. Hope you’re doing well x
@@XhristinaMacey that's such a shame, would of been a beautiful family home at some point, we are good thanks hope you, fiona and the pups are well too, x
Quite a different mood on this compared to your other content. Although, someone above mentioned they must of been happy living in a beautiful area. Whilst I do agree it's beautiful, the house seemed lonely and unloved vibe to it. Quite a somber feeling about this clip and very touching.
Agree was sad to see someone’s life’s possessions just left to decay, love to know why it happened as most likely something bad happened as to nobody wanting anything
@@XhristinaMacey I guess.... most probably a family dispute, those things can turn quite ugly for the simplest of reasons. I would say "family are worth more than arguments". But, I am far happier away from my siblings. Besides, I've got a wife and kids to keep me busy. I guess that's why I can't get on here all that often lol
