Hi I haven’t viewed for a while but it always breaks my heart to see houses left like this. It looks like someone has died or been taken into care. So sad . As usual you always show respect and compassion for what has been someone’s home and their personal belongings. Pity the same can’t be said about your compadres 🤦♀️
Gorgeous surroundings great views . I'm from Irvine but our greenbelt is vanishing to make way for crap looking new builds. Thank you Alec not much of the happy squad this venture.
@13:55 It’s actually a vintage cheque writer. You would dial out the amount of the cheque you wanted to write and then turn the handle on the right side of the machine. It would stamp or impress the numbers on the cheque and voila! Paycheque time for the employees, everyone’s favourite day at work.
Yes but to me it looks like a money order stamp machine. Basically used the same way you explained. And you would fill in who you were paying for what bill or financial obligation payment. Not sure if money orders are a common thing over there or not
@@lindatimmons3675 Hi Linda. I didn’t see your comment until just now. Yes it certainly could be a money order stamper. We agree that it was something to do with money. I can remember going to the bank as a child with my mother. The tellers would write in your bank book with a pen to give you the new balance. Now we go to a machine on a wall. Money orders were free way back when. Have a lovely day.
Possibly could still be salvaged, get a good strong sturdy roof on it and repair the inside. I just don't understand why so many places in some of these countries are abandoned. What happens that they just leave everything.........
@@alisonlyons4691 Yeah sure was warm that day and water was nice too, if there's another heatwave i'm going back lol, i only stayed up there for one night as well was so worth it
The little machine on the mantle is an adding machine or maybe a calculator - mechanical, not digital. Looks like it might be from the 1960s, like the TV and the telephone. These houses always raise such a lot of questions. What happened to make the people living there go so quickly and never even come back for family photos? Why do people let holes form in the roof, which is the signal that the building won't last much longer? Someone owns this house, but doesn't care about it, even enough to sell it....
It sad all memories left elderly person im guessing some ppl don't have family to leave ther home too and all that land to go with it that worth a bit if sold its a shame its gna need a revamp
All of these places these Urbexers go to are in UK, Maybe France , Belgium, Italy, and other places. It is so sad so many aces are just left to sit empty full of belongings and be destroyed by nature. It's so very sad. There was a time in my life that I would have been happy to have had a nice out of the weather place to stay.
@@nannyburd1 I could be completely off the mark but it looks like a road on the way to Aberdeen, maybe somewhere between Forfar and Aberdeen. Just a guess,
