OMG... People are jumping around Eiffel Tower,The Triumph Arch and sight like that, but how can it possibly happen that such a place is neglected and abandoned.

Do you know why these places get abandoned? I live in the States and would love to stay in a place like that or own one. (Ya right lol) I see all these beautiful buildings that took someones whole sole to build and it ends up like this. Have you ever heard of a tree huger, well I would be a building huger. These places gave there all to protect the people that lived in it and now there just memories. How sad.

There has to be a past, old places forgotten or abanded, people who no longer are alive, all together make the past a part of a century. We can se these old places, where long gone people had lived their lives, but we must accept, that time is one hard enemy....

Lovely. Is this area anything like in America, where if you live in an abandoned house for a certain amount of time you can legally take complete possession of it as the new owner?

Looks like a French military family lived there in 1997. They probably moved out when they realized that it took too money to maintain it. Would like to know what happened to them.
