Many happy memories of holidays here in the 60s. No pool then and not much else except beach and glen. We used to go for lots of rambles. Happy Days! think the chalets were wooden.
The Junior school I went to had an annual week holiday at a holiday camp at the Isle of Man in the 1960's. I went on two of these holidays way back in 1966 and 1967. I remember that the camp was on a hillside but the chalets were wooden hut type buildings, I don't remember concrete buildings. A gang of school kids and great teachers had holidays we will never forget. I wonder if this was the camp?
