Awww, so sorry to here that they will mine this area ;( the photography/filming is beautiful and the history really adds to your video! Well done ladies! loved the sword fight!!
Do you know how strange it is for an Aussie to be looking at the sun in the SOUTHERN sky??? Never ever seen in the south down here. I’m just loving this series showing the world your country. Love to come visit one day. Keep up the great work all of you at the R Grapevine. 😎
Great fun and informative video ladies and fallegan hreim! We'll deff try to visit on our next trip - tho Jan weather prob won't be conducive and come July might be too late to see it undamaged... But 🤞
Very interesting. Great views, nice facts. The music sucks though (too loud, have to turn the volume up and down when I want to understand what you say and not ruin my ears with the music).
@@TheReykjavikGrapevine Wind formation is a rather complicated issue indeed. But in this case what both ladies are trying to point out is that no land lies between them and the NORTH POLE, not the SOUTH POLE. Come on, between Iceland and the South Pole you find lots of lands, like the British Isles, Southern Europe, Africa and its Sahara and finally Antarctica. I take that you admit that, that it was an error and that you perhaps are stubborn enough not to reconsider it!
@@franciscoanderiz I don't think she was being serious about the wind coming directly from the South Pole. But you absolutely can draw a direct line from Iceland to the South Pole.
